DIY on how I made beautiful gown for my friends combined with aso oke

Greetings creative friends and needlework community how are you doing how is your family is been some time have been here,
Since my father died have not been my self and coming back from the burial I have to resume back to the upgrading class in men outfits I was learning before his demise, I’m really sorry for not be active since then .

Today I will love to share this beautiful gown I made for my friend she send me the style that she love it and I bought material and Aso oke and cut it and it came out the way it’s in the picture .

I measured the gown length to be 24” then 10” for the pleated part after I measured the shoulder to sleeve length the 2” band from the Aso oke.

After cutting the back and front together I separated the front from the back then I measured 1.5” out front the center front then I replace it with 2” band of the Aso oke folded, I cut out the 10” length and long enough to make the gathers at the down part and I went ahead to sew.

After I delivered the dress to her she love and she was so happy and ask me to make another one for her 😍.
