This time I wanted to participate in the dynamic "OCD Community Boost Contest #7" and I decided to make my own backpack since the previous one had a damaged clasp and it was already old and of course it was also made by me. The things I enjoy making the most are backpacks, purses and related things, I must admit that I had more than a year without making a backpack and believe me it was not so easy, it is true that what is not practiced with time is lost.
En esta oportunidad desee concursar en la dinámica "OCD Community Boost Contest #7” y decidí en esta hacer mi propia mochila ya que la anterior se le daño un broche y ya era vieja y por supuesto también era echa por mí. Las cosas que más disfruto cociendo son los morrales, carteras y cosas afines, debo admitir que tenía más de un año sin hacer un morral y créanme no se me hizo tan sencillo es cierto lo que no se practica con el tiempo se pierde.
Finally I met @arlettemsalase and she accompanied me to the fabric store and I bought a beige synthetic leather and I loved the color, in another store I bought the zippers and pins and threads for the elaboration of what will now be my beautiful backpack.
First of all when I make backpacks I buy just the right fabric, not a centimeter too much because one of the main ideas apart from having a unique product is to save money, so on the opposite side of the fabric I mark the pieces very meticulously before cutting to avoid missing fabric.
Finalmente pude conocer a @arlettemsalase y ella me acompaño a la tienda de telas y compre un cuero sintético color beige y ame el color, en otra tienda compre los cierres y pasadores e hilos para la elaboración del que será ahora mi linda mochila.
Primeramente cuando hago morrales compro tela justa ni un centímetro de más porque una de las ideas principales aparte de tener un producto único es el ahorro así que del lado contrario de tela muy minuciosamente marco tas las piezas antes de cortar para evitar faltantes de tela.
Once I cut the pieces I started sewing the zippers, one for one pocket and the other for the main pocket.
Una vez que corté las piezas comencé a coser los cierres uno para un bolsillo y otro el principal.
For the back part we must sew the straps and place them superficially with the machine to avoid movements when we join all the parts that compose the backpack.
Para la parte posterior debemos coser las correas y colocarlas superficialmente con la máquina para evitar movimientos cuando unamos todas las partes que componen la mochila.
Finally we have three pieces ready to join them and have our backpack ready, there are two ways to hide the seams, one is to place a lining or the other, which was the one I chose, was to place a kind of bias binding around the seams.
Finalmente tenemos tres piezas listas para unirlas y tener listo nuestro morral, hay dos formas de ocultar las costuras una es colocarle forro o la otra que fue la que elegí fue colocarle una especie de bies alrededor de las costuras.

wow me encantó este bolso, a mi también me gusta hacer morrales pero las hago a mano, me gustaría tener una maquina que soporte coser tela gruesa. Te quedó espectacular por cierto un comentario que no viene al caso pero amé tu cabello <3 Saludos!
Yo hago muchas cosas a mano, mi maquina le cuesta coser estas cosas me gustaria una industrial para haver mejotes acabados.
