It occurred to me to make this cute mat to place a glass ornament, which was kept in a drawer, I wanted to use it on a small table but it didn't have something flashy, and I chose to look for red thread and start knitting this centerpiece.
Se me ocurrió hacer este lindo tapete para colocar un adorno de vidrio, el cual estaba guardado en un cajón,quise usarlo en una mesita pero no tenia algo llamativo, y opte por buscar hilo rojo y comenzar a tejer este centro de mesa.
Materials:
- red crochet yarn
- crochet needle No 2
Materiales:

- aguja crochet No 2

- pb: Single or double crochet
- pa: Garter stitch or purl stitch
- pr: Slipped stitch
- pto: Stitch

Process:
- 8 chs are performed, it closes in pr
- v1: then 3chs, 3chs, 1 dc, 3chs in the air, 1 dc, repeat 7 times and close with pr.
- v2: Do 1 sc and then 3chs, 3mpa, 5chs nailing 1sc in the third st in the air, do 4 hdc repeat the sequence finish with sc.
- v3: Do pr and then do 3chs, 1mpa1mpa, repeat sequence and pr.
- v4: 1pa, 5pa, 2pa, 2pa, 5pa, 2pa repeat sequence finish pr.
- v5: On each petal of the 3 v. Make 1 dc, 1ch, 1ch, 3ch out, 1ch 3ch open 1dc in the 2nd sts next. repeat sequence until finished pr.
- v6: repeat v5.
- v7: repeat sequence v5 and fill in the third square with 4 tabs closed together, then in the 7 thus repeat sequence and cover the round.
- v8: Do 2pr then do 3chs, 3chs in the air, 1dc, 2chs in the air, 1p to continue until the end of the round.
Proceso:
- Se realizan 8 chs , se cierra en pr
- v1: luego 3chs, 3chs, 1pa,3chs al aire, 1 pa, repetir 7 veces y cerrar con pr.
- v2: Hacer 1 pr y luego 3chs,3mpa,5chs clavando 1mp en el tercer p al aire,hacer 4 mpa repetir secuencia terminar con pr.
- v3: Hacer pr para luego hacer 3chs,1mpa1mpa, repetir secuencia y pr.
- v4: 1mpa, 5pa, 2mpa, 2mpa, 5pa,2mpa repetir secuencia terminar pr.
- v5: Sobre cada pétalo de la 3 v. hacer 1pa,1chs,1pa, 3chsal aire,1pa 3chs al aire 1pa en el 2do p sig. repetir secuencia hasta terminar pr.
- v6: repetir v5.
- v7: repetir secuencia v5 y hacer en el tercer cuadro rellenar con 4mpa cerrados juntos, luego en el 7 así repetir secuencia y cubrir la vuelta.
- v8: Hacer 2pr luego hacer 3chs,3chs al aire,1pa,2chs al aire, 1pa seguir hasta terminar vuelta.

Aquí se muestra como se hace el punto piña o popcorn:
4mpa cerrados juntos: tomar hebra extrae la lazada sin a completar y luego cerrar todos los bucles de una sola vez. Con ese punto se hace una especie de rombo, en el tapete.
v9,10,11 Make 2pr, 3chs, 3chs, 1pa, 2chs in the air, 1pa, 3chs in the air, nail in each square until the sequence is followed and cover the entire round, finish with pr.
v9,10,11 Hacer 2pr, 3chs,3chs, 1pa,2chs al aire, 1pa,3chs al aire clavar en cada cuadro hasta el seguir secuencia y cubrir toda la vuelta terminar con pr.
V12,13,14: Repeat sequence, do 2 by, 3chs, 3chs, nail 1dc, 2chs, 1pa, 3chs in the air, nail in the middle of each square and follow sequence, finish with pr.
V12,13,14: Repetir secuencia, hacer 2 por, 3chs, 3chsclavar 1pa, 2chs,1pa,3chs al aire,clavar en la mitad de cada cuadro y seguir secuencia terminar con pr.
V15: Crochet 2p, 3chs, sc, nail in the two chs of the previous round, 3chs, nail 4 tr, 3chs, skipping a space or sc square and continue the sequence until the entire round is covered
V15:Hacer 2pr,3chs,sc clavar en las dos chs de la vuelta anterior, 3chs, clavar 4 pa, 3chs, saltando un espacio o cuadro sc y seguir secuencia hasta cubrir toda la vuelta
v16: Sc all the way around
v16:Hacer pb toda la vuelta
... And voila, we have the finished red mat.
... Y listo tenemos ya el tapete rojo terminado.
Ready to wear on the coffee table.
