Good morning Hivers, happy new week to you all. I'm so happy to share with you my latest design, actually I was just thinking how I can do something different this time, and what I arrived at is not too bad. So I will be sharing with you how I made a navy blue kaftan with touch of sky blue.

MATERIALS USED

  • Fabric (Irish)
  • Paper stay
  • Hair stay
  • Collar stay
  • Thread

MEASURING AND CUTTING PROCESS

SEWING PROCESS

  • Firstly I folded the allowances added to the body and sew, then I picked the front and added my design, joined to the back and tape the neck.

  • Then I fixed the collar, the sleeve placket, and joined the sleeve to the body, then joined the body and fixed the curve.
