The covid pandemic has changed peoples life now. Until there's no proven effective vaccine discovered and available, we are not still safe outside.
We should still practice protective measure to insure safety of ourselves and our family from the virus.
Wearing mask in public is i think still a must and bringing your own hand sanitizers with you is essential.
I used used to place my hand sanitizers inside and everytime i want to use it I would open my bag and dig into it..
Now I made a solution.
I made a crochet hand sanitizer cosy.
Carry it as a key chain so you won't ransack your bag trying to find it ^_^
Here's what you need:
Yarns (any color you like)
2.5mm hook
Key ring
Scissor
Pattern.
First, make 20 single crochet
Slip stitch on the 1st stitch to make a ring.
Chain 1. Make a half double crochet on the next stitch and all trough the stitch making 20 hdc
Third round . Make 2 sc and croxhet 3 hdc and on the 4th stitch make 2 hdc, again 3 hdc and in the 4th make 2 hdc crochet the same as you go along. Then slip stitch on the last.
Fourth round. Make a 2 sc and crochet 3 hdc and on the 4th make 2 hdc, crochet as you go along in the end and make a slip stitch.
5th row. Make 2 sc make a hdc on the 2nd stitch and all throughout no increase this time.
6th to 8th row.. crochet along the stitches depends on the length of your hand sanitizer containers.
Last make 20 chains then make an sc on the the 7 chain making a loop , sc on the next stitches..secure.
Put the key ring and some flower designs.
And you are done!

That is a cutie! The colours are cheery and I like the addition of the flower. Just wondering, how do we make it stretchable so that it can fit any sized bottle?
I think we will just make some adjustments on the sizes...like it is narrow just decrease or if it os wider we should just decreases the stitches @marblely 😊
I love this idea! I keep my hand sanitzer in an outside pocket of my purse, but I would rather have it on the outside. I reach for it as soon as I get in my car when I have been out and about shopping before I touch my steering wheel. Thanks for sharing.
