Ya llegó Diciembre el mes en que las costuras están al topé pues muchas personas mandan hacer ropa para los estrenos de estos días o por lo menos aquí en Venezuela es tradición colocarse ropa nueva en navidad y año nuevo. Así que yo estoy en la tarea de hacer los estrenos de mi bebé Sheyla, en esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar un jogger, tomé la inspiración de unos hermosos zapatos que le compré a mi bebé, blanco con detalles en colores pasteles, así que en estos mismos tonos realicé está prenda.

December is here, the month in which sewing is at its peak because many people have clothes made for the premieres of these days or at least here in Venezuela it is tradition to wear new clothes at Christmas and New Year. So I am in the task of making the premieres of my baby Sheyla, this time I'm going to show you a jogger, I took the inspiration of some beautiful shoes I bought for my baby, white with details in pastel colors, so in these same tones I made this garment.
Para el diseño de este jogger quise hacer algo diferente, me gustó mucho la idea de colócale los bolsillos por afuera y que fuesen de un color diferente al de la base que en este caso era rosada, trabaje con tonos pasteles, pienso que a mí bebé le quedan muy bien estos colores. For the design of this jogger I wanted to do something different, I really liked the idea of placing the pockets on the outside and that they were of a different color than the base which in this case was pink, I worked with pastel shades, I think that my baby looks great in these colors. Para este proyecto necesitaremos medio metro de tela de mono rosada, un retazo de tela de mono lila, utilicé hilo rosado, Alfileres, cinta elástica con cordon, Tijera, Cinta métrica, pantalón molde, Aguja y máquina de coser.
For this project we will need half a meter of pink monkey fabric, a piece of lilac monkey fabric, I used pink thread, pins, elastic tape with cord, scissors, tape measure, molded pants, needle and sewing machine.

Comenzamos doblando la tela y colocándola en una superficie plana, el primer paso es colocar el patrón sobre la tela (doble), sujetamos con alfileres para que no se mueva y cortamos el tiro trasero luego sin mover la tela vamos a colocar el patrón del otro lado para cortar el tiro delantero, para este jogger necesitamos sacar dos piezas, Debemos tener en cuenta que el tiro trasero es más alto y más curvo que el delantero. Recuerda agregar 1 cm de margen de costura.
We start by folding the fabric and placing it on a flat surface, the first step is to place the pattern on the fabric (double), we hold it with pins so that it does not move and cut the back draft then without moving the fabric we will place the pattern on the other side to cut the front draft, for this jogger we need to take out two pieces, We must take into account that the back draft is higher and more curved than the front. Remember to add 1 cm seam allowance.
Para cortar los bolsillos hice un patrón en papel que luego me serviría para sacarlo sobre la tela, también corté dos tiras de 10 cm de ancho y 16 cm de largo estás también en color lila para los ruedos del jogger.

Antes de comenzar a coser los tiros, cosí los bolsillos, me ayude con alfileres para ubicarlos y sostenerlos para luego pasar costura recta por la orilla tratando de hace lo mejor posible.

Vamos a coser y ahora nos toca unir los tiro delantero y trasero, colocamos las piezas enfrentando derecho con derecho y pasando costura recta y luego zigzag rematando la costura, lo mismo hacemos para la parte trasera. Luego abrimos y cosemos la entrepierna de la misma manera.
We are going to sew and now it's time to join the front and back seams, we place the pieces facing each other right to right and sew a straight seam and then zigzag the seam, we do the same for the back. Then we open and sew the crotch in the same way.
Vamos a armar la pretina para esto necesitaremos elástica de 4 cm de ancho, está elástica tiene incorporado un cordón que vamos sacar luego de coser. Medí la elástica en la cintura de mi bebé estirando y eso fue lo que use para la pretina del jogger.
Para los ruedos del pantalón utilice las dos tiras de 10 cm de ancho y 16 cm de largo que corte en color lila, cosí para cerrarlo y luego lo doble a la mitad y uní a la pierna.
We are going to assemble the waistband for this we will need 4 cm wide elastic, this elastic has a built-in drawstring that we are going to take out after sewing. I measured the elastic at my baby's waist by stretching and that is what I used for the waistband of the jogger.
For the hems of the pants I used the two 10 cm wide and 16 cm long strips that I cut in lilac color, sewed to close it and then folded it in half and attached it to the leg.
