Capaz lo recuerdes por la serie animada de Batman de los años noventa, fue el primer Robin que se nos presentó y años más tarde se convertiría en Nightwing pero de seguro hay cosas que has podido pasar por alto de este gran personaje, por ejemplo, es lider y uno de los miembros fundadoderes tanto de Teen Titans, The Titans y Young Justice, pero vamos a hacer un pequeño desglose de este gran personaje.
You may remember him from the Batman animated series of the nineties, he was the first Robin to be introduced to us and years later he would become Nightwing but surely there are things you might have overlooked about this great character, for example, he is a leader and one of the founding members of both Teen Titans, The Titans and Young Justice, but let's make a small breakdown of this great character.
Fue el primero en llevar el manto de Robin y fue creado con la finalidad de hacer al caballero de la noche "Batman" un poco más humano y que esta historia pudiese simpatizar con un público un poco más joven. Al igual que Bruce, Richard Grayson también tiene orígenes traumáticos, quedó huérfano a temprana edad a manos de un mafioso llamado Tony Zucco por lo cual Batman adoptaría a Dick para que no tuviera los mismo orígenes de venganza que Bruce.
Dick descubre que Bruce es Batman y al ver sus facultades, Batman decide entrenarlo para que sea su sidekick. A medida que fue creciendo, Dick se uniría a los Teen Titans por lo que empezaría poco a poco a distanciarse de Batman, así que a los 18 años decide dejarlo y convertirse en Nightwing por no comulgar con las misma filosofía de su mentor.

Una vez que Dick deja a Batman vaga un tiempo sin tener una identidad que no le trajera malos recuerdos y en ese momento se consigue con Superman, este le cuenta sobre un héroe rechazado por su pueblo y es ahí cuando Dick decide adoptar el alias de este héroe: Nightwing.

A pesar de que Dick decidió separarse de Batman, nos hemos dado cuenta que este paso era para una independencia sana para no estar a su sombra. Dick se presentaría siempre como la contraparte de la moneda, mientras Batman es muy cerrado y hasta oscuro, veríamos en Dick una lucha interna por ser luz en tanta oscuridad. Dick en más de una ocasión a tenido que portar el manto del caballero de la noche, siendo la primera vez cuando Batman le rompen la espalda a manos de Bane. Vale acotar que a pesar de que a pesar de que Batman tiene su hijo Damián Wayne, Dick siempre será la primera opción para portar este manto, siendo este para él una cruz que tendrá que cargar hasta el final.

Muy interesante la historia de este héroe, espero que podamos verla en el cine próximamente, quizá no en una película en solitario, pero si como parte de la saga que seguramente iniciará el nuevo Batman de Robert Pattinson. Saludos amigo, buen post.
@nestorgomez revisaste la serie de "the boys"??? bueno, si quieres saber un poco más de este personaje, es el protagonista de la serie live action Titans. Gracias por pasar por acá, un abrazo.
Aun no la he visto, tengo algún tiempo con la idea de descargarla, pues mi esposa quiere verla, pero no he tenido chance de hacerlo, pues he estado usando la conexión para otras cosas, espero hacerlo próximamente. Ah no sabía de la existencia de esa serie, como no tengo HBO, de la que si vi varios capítulos y no me gustó mucho fue Doom Patrol. Un gusto saludarte y leerte, estamos en contacto.
