¿Y cómo está mi gente linda, mi gente bella?
¿Cómo se preparan para conmemorar este día? sé que en muchos países como Estados Unidos y México realizan muchos ritos, fiestas, decoran las casas y hacen ricos platos para compartir entre amigos. Acá en Venezuela muchas personas han adoptado esta tradición y celebran con sus niños, se disfrazan de brujas, momias, vampiros, fantasmas y salen a recorrer las calles para a jugar.
En México es algo completamente distinto, pero por lo que he visto es una celebración por todo lo alto, hacen altares repletos de flores, no solo en las casas sino también en pleno cementerio y pasan allí largas horas de la noche cantando y comiendo las cosas que a sus seres queridos más le gustaban.
Recuerdo que cuando vi la película COCO entendí mucho de aquello; todas las actividades inician desde el 31 de octubre, que une el día de las brujas o Halloween con el 01 y 02 de noviembre que se dedican al día de todos los santos y el día de los muertos.
El verdadero significado que los mexicanos nos quieren enseñar es que la vida continua después de la muerte, el amor que sentimos por nuestros familiares y amigos nos hace mantenerlos vivos en nuestras vidas, en nuestro corazón, y la muerte llega cuando los olvidamos, cuando ya no nos acordamos de los momentos que vivimos, de lo que compartíamos, de lo que les gustaba.
Un espantapájaros de cartón con mucho corazón
Hoy quiero participar en esta algarabía que se ha vuelto Halloween y participar en CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE #15 || IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE! || Halloween es coming! organizado por nuestra amiga @jennyzer. Yo encantada de poder llegar en el último día y así poder demostrar junto a cada uno de los que participaron que si se puede hacer cosas bonitas utilizando el reciclaje.
Materiales para utilizar
Hoy les quiero mostrar el paso a paso de como hice esta cabeza de espantapájaros en cartón para decorar una puerta o cualquier espacio en la noche de Halloween.
Los materiales que utilicé fueron:
Cartón, pinturas al frio, cúter, tijeras, pinceles, y flores y cintas para decorar.
Paso a paso
Lo primero que vamos hacer es cortar dos piezas de cartón una grande de 18x27 y otra de 4 centímetros por 27.

Pintamos de beis y negro según puedes notar en las imágenes y pintamos ojos, nariz y boca. La decoración es muy importante, ya que de ella depende que el espantapájaros se destaque en la decoración.
Como ven es muy sencillo, lo puedes elaborar de distintos tamaños y colocarle más flores, cintas y todo lo que se te ocurra, así como este ratoncito que brota del sombrero viejo de nuestro amigo.

How do you prepare to commemorate this day? I know that in many countries like the United States and Mexico they have many rites, parties, decorate houses and make delicious dishes to share with friends. Here in Venezuela many people have adopted this tradition and celebrate with their children, they dress up as witches, mummies, vampires, ghosts and go out to the streets to play.
In Mexico it is something completely different, but from what I have seen it is a celebration in style, they make altars full of flowers, not only in the houses but also in the cemetery and spend long hours of the night singing and eating the things that their loved ones liked the most.
I remember when I saw the movie COCO I understood a lot of that; all the activities start from October 31, which unites the day of the witches or Halloween with November 01 and 02 which are dedicated to All Saints' Day and the Day of the Dead.
The true meaning that Mexicans want to teach us is that life continues after death, the love we feel for our family and friends makes us keep them alive in our lives, in our hearts, and death comes when we forget them, when we no longer remember the moments we lived, what we shared, what they liked.
A cardboard scarecrow with a lot of heart
Today I want to join in on this hoopla that has become Halloween and participate in CREATIVE RECYCLING CHALLENGE #15 || IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE! || Halloween is coming! organized by our friend @jennyzer. I was thrilled to be able to make it on the last day and thus be able to show along with everyone who participated that yes you can make beautiful things using recycling.
Materials to use
Today I want to show you the step by step of how I made this cardboard scarecrow head to decorate a door or any space on Halloween night.
The materials I used were:
Cardboard, cold paints, cutter, scissors, brushes, and flowers and ribbons to decorate.
Step by step*
The first thing we are going to do is cut two pieces of cardboard one large 18x27 and the other 4 centimeters by 27.
We painted beige and black as you can notice in the images and painted eyes, nose and mouth. The decoration is very important, since it depends on it that the scarecrow stands out in the decoration.
As you can see it is very simple, you can make it in different sizes and add more flowers, ribbons and everything you can think of, as well as this little mouse that sprouts from our friend's old hat.
