Hello friends, today I want to present my work for the Creative Recycling Challenge devised by @jennyzer and he cordially invited me to participate. I really like these initiatives that lead us to use our imagination combined with art to recycle. My presentation today is about a Pop Up Christmas card of a Christmas tree. On the cover there is a candle that is made with soda cans each of its parts and in the middle is the little tree that when opening the card it unfolds. I did it with materials such as ordinary cardboard and school cards that I was no longer using. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos hoy quiero presentar mi trabajo para el Desafio de Reciclaje Creativo ideado por @jennyzer y me invitó cordialmente a participar. Me gusta mucho estas iniciativas que nos llevan a utilizar la imaginacion combinado con arte para reciclar. Mi presentacion de hoy se trata de una tarjeta navideña Pop Up de un arbolito de navidad. En la portada tiene una vela que esta hecha con latas de sodas cada una de sus partes y en medio esta el arbolito que al abrir la tarjeta el se desplega. Lo hice con materiales como carton corriente y cartulinas escolares que ya no estaba utilizando. Espero les guste.
First selected, the current cardboard can be from a box that we are not using. We cut it out until we get a card and then we cover it with red and green card that are the characteristic colors of Christmas.
Primero seleccionados el carton corriente puede ser de una caja que no estemos usando. La recortamos hasta sacar una tarjeta y luego la cubrimos con cartulina roja y verde que son los colores caracteristicos de la navidad.
Once we have chosen the green and red cards we proceed to cover it. For that we measure with a ruler so that each cut we make is the same size. We put glue on it and proceed to join them.
Una vez hayamos escogido las cartulinas de color verde y rojo procedemos a cubrirla. Para eso medimos con una regla para que nos quede del mismo tamaño cada corte que hagamos. Le ponemos pegamento y procedemos a unirlas.
The next step is to decorate the cover of the card, for them we will use the figure of a Christmas candle and the material that we will use will be a soda can. We cut the candle and then glue it. Then with some green cans we remove the leaves and with red cans the small backdrops. Finally we draw some little stars and put them around.
El siguiente paso es decorar la portada de la tarjeta, para ellos usaremos la figura de una vela navideña y el material que utilizaremos sera lata de soda. Cortamos la vela y luego la pegamos. Luego con unas latas de color verde sacamos las hojas y con latas de color rojo las pequeñas bambalinas. De ultimo dibujamos unas pequeñas estrellas y las ponemos alrededor.
Then on a white cardboard we will make the pop up tree. We draw the little tree and make the measurements well so that when we bend it we do not get crooked. Once drawn we cut it with something sharp, very carefully and separate it. Then we fold where we draw the line so that this part is stuck in the middle of the card that we made.
Luego en una cartulina de color blanco haremos el arbolito pop up. Dibujamos el arbolito y hacemos bien las medidas para que cuando lo doblemos no nos quede torcido. Una vez dibujado lo cortamos con algo filoso, con mucho cuidado y lo separamos. Despues doblamos en donde trazamos la raya para que esta parte quede pegada en la mitad de la tarjeta que hicimos.
The next step is to glue the tree to the card exactly in the middle and it would look like this. Then we write the letters: Merry Christmas. And we put other stars made with soda cans around the letters.
El paso siguiente es pegar el arbolito a la tajeta exactamente a la mitad y nos quedaría asi. Luego escribimos las letras: Feliz Navidad. Y colocamos otras estrellas hechas con latas de soda alrededor de las letras.

Hermoso trabajo, @fixie. Siguiendo el paso a paso que nos has compartido se puede observar que no es tan difícil. Me gustó mucho el resultado final.
no lo es, y lo mejor es que uno puede jugar con las formas. Al principio yo no sabia por donde comenzar una vez que lo descubri me di cuenta de que podia hacer otras figuras. La verdad es muy buen y relajante.
