Ayer estuvo de mi cumpleaños mi hija @lucianav y aunque generalmente le confecciono su ropa para ese día, quería sorprenderla con algo diferente ero creado por mis manos, por supuesto usando telas.
A ella le encantan los emoticones con motivo de cochinitos o cerditos y se me ocurrió hacerle un cojín con ese motivo.
Primera vez que hago un trabajo así y me tocó hacerlo todo a mano pues como era sorpresa no podía encender mi maquina de coser. Pero el trabajo fue mi sencillo y rápido.
Yesterday was my daughter @lucianav's birthday and although I usually make her clothes for that day, I wanted to surprise her with something different but created by my hands, of course using fabrics.
She loves emoticons with pigs or piglets motifs and I thought of making her a cushion with that motif.
First time I do a job like this and I had to do it all by hand because as it was a surprise I could not turn on my sewing machine. But the work was my simple and fast.
Los materiales a utilizar son:The materials to use are:
- Tela tipo gamuza.
- Retazos de tela para decorar.
- Hilo, tijera.
- Moldes.
- Guata o Relleno.
- Suede-like fabric.
- Fabric scraps for decoration.
- Thread, scissors.
- Molds.
- Wadding or stuffing.
Paso a Paso/Step by step
1.- Cortamos las partes del cojín haciendo uso delos moldes. Cabeza, Orejas, Nariz, Ojos.
1.- We cut the parts of the cushion using the molds. Head, Ears, Nose, Eyes.
2.- Comenzamos trabajando con las orejas. Estas son 2 piezas por cada oreja. Colocamos una decoración en forma de corazón en la parte de la oreja que será el frente. Luego cosemos las piezas de la oreja y rellenamos con guata o algodón.
2.- We start working with the ears. These are 2 pieces for each ear. We place a heart-shaped decoration on the part of the ear that will be the front. Then we sew the pieces of the ear and fill with wadding or cotton.
3.- Fijamos los ojos y cosemos para formar las pestañas.
3.- We fix the eyes and sew to form the eyelashes.
4.- Trabajamos la nariz. Esta esta formada por una pieza ovalada y un listón de 25 cm aproximadamente. Para ello cosemos el listón a la forma ovalada y luego rellenamos para luego cerrar y que no se salga el relleno.
4.- We work the nose. This is formed. For this we sew the ribbon to the oval shape and then fill it to close it so that the stuffing does not come out.
5.- Trabajamos ahora las piezas de la cabeza, para ello pegamos por todo el contorno el listón más largo a la pieza donde fijamos los ojos. En este paso vamos también a pegar las orejas que ya tenemos formadas, Luego tomamos la otra pieza de la cabeza y también la pegamos a este listón y dejamos una parte sin coser, que será por donde voltearemos nuestra cabeza y además nos servirá para introducir el relleno.
5.- Now we work the pieces of the head, for this we glue the longest ribbon to the piece where we fix the eyes. In this step we will also glue the ears that we have already formed. Then we take the other piece of the head and also glue it to this ribbon and leave a part without sewing, which will be where we will turn our head and will also serve to introduce the stuffing.
6.- Una vez volteada y rellena la cabeza, cerramos con una costura el hueco por donde rellenamos y cosemos la nariz a la cabeza.
6.- Once the head is turned over and stuffed, we close with a seam the hole where we stuffed and sew the nose to the head.
7.- Con silicón pegamos los ojos, bigotes y lengua.

Y listo!! Tenemos un hermoso cojín en forma de Cerdito para obsequiar a mi linda veinteañera.
And that's it!We have a beautiful cushion in the shape of a Piggy to give as a gift to my pretty 20 year old.
