I always wanted to learn digital art. Procreate was my dream. First I didn’t have fancy Ipad Pro, I thought it’s way too expensive to buy it just for fun. Later I realized that it could be an art tool for me, homework, and gaming tool for kids, and guess what? I decided the time has come. We got it right before 2020-21 school year started.

Now I’m realizing I barely use it. Kids use it for school and screen time, but not me😱.

I bought a course how to draw in Procreate and soon it will be expired. Too many things happened recently when I couldn’t get free time for learning the course. I keep teaching art, and preparing for the lessons takes a lot of time.

I’m still thankful for what I’m doing though, I love teaching my students, they are so bright and smart, that I just simply enjoy it. Who knows maybe it didn’t mean to happen, and I don’t need the course if it’s not happening.

Well, anyway, let me share process photos of some easy Procreate art..

It’s basically a vivid color sunset, with many hills, some trees and a deer silhouette.

You can see I have 14 layers in this file. In any digital program working with layers can make your life so much easier. I tried Photoshop in the past, but I hardly can remember how to use it.
