This is, for me, the best thing I have painted in a long time, "phantom" portrays a lonely man naked in the armchair, with a worried face, turning his back to a woman also naked who seems to accommodate his hair, the lighting is born from behind the chair as if it came out of the floor, giving a high contrast and dynamism in the composition.
This painting appeared in the early hours of the morning, just when I was going to sleep the scene came to my mind, a sepia background with a cold atmosphere, a very common scene among those who miss, the ghost of a past that returns home to turn on the light When the world shuts down.
In this painting I was quite influenced by the works of Ressendi and El Greco, great masters whom I have studied and admired for a long time. It took me a couple of hours to finish the painting, in the wee hours of the morning, definitely, the inspiration comes at the least expected moment, however, it is fortunate that this time, it has arrived at the best moment.

Esta es, para mi, lo mejor que he pintado en un buen tiempo, EL Fantasma retrata a un hombre solitario desnudo en el sillón, con cara de desasosiego, dando la espalda a una mujer también desnuda que parece acomodar su cabello, la iluminación nace de detrás del sillón como si esta saliera del piso, dando un alto contraste y dinamismo en la composición.
Esta pintura surgió en horas de la madrugada, justo cuando iba a dormir llegó a mi mente la escena, un fondo sepia con atmósfera fría, una escena muy común entre los que extrañan, el fantasma de un pasado que regresa a casa a encender la luz cuando el mundo se apaga.
En esta pintura me influencié bastante de los trabajos de Ressendi y de El Greco, grandes maestros los cuales he estudiado y admirado desde hace un buen tiempo. Tardé un par de horas hasta terminar la pintura, en altas horas de la madrugada, definitivamente, la inspiración llega en el momento menos esperado, sin embargo, es una suerte que en esta ocasión, haya llegado en el mejor momento.
