Hi everyone.
It's the first time that I write in this beautiful Community, suggested by @offgridlife. I am Delilha and I'm a fan of Star Wars and other nerdy stuff. In my blog I mainly talk about science, vegan recipes, travel and, sometimes, I like having fun creating some digital drawings.
Today I bring you an illustration of Hera Syndulla, one of the main characters in the Star Wars Rebels series, which I recently finished. This series is set 14 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

Hera Syndulla is an amazing pilot and owner of the Ghost, the star ship of the entire series. She was born on the planet Ryloth and is the daughter of Cham Syndulla, another very important character in the story.
I was immediately captured by her figure because, during the course of the saga, she has shown that she is very strong and valiant, but at the same time she doesn’t hide her feelings. In fact, she is always able to keep the rebel group together and, during times of difficulty, she always has the right words for everyone. Furthermore you can also appreciate her love for Kenan, the Jedi leader of the crew.
Hera Syndulla, as mentioned earlier, is an excellent pilot and, in fact, due to her surprising ability she is promoted to Captain of the Phoenix Squadron, the beating heart of the rebellion against the Empire.

In today's exercise with Adobe Illustrator I decided to represent Hera in two versions. First of all, I created the lineart.
Subsequently, I tried to faithfully reproduce the colors of the character, helping me with the photos on the official website of the Star Wars saga and I added a stellar background.

The second version, on the other hand, is focused on black and red tones and I made a makeover of the character's style.
I also show some details of the illustrations.

È la prima volta che scrivo in questa bella Community, suggerita da @offgridlife. Mi chiamo Delilha e sono una fan di Star Wars e altre cose nerd. Nel mio blog parlo principalmente di scienza, ricette vegane, viaggi e, ogni tanto, mi piace divertirmi a creare qualche disegno digitale.
Oggi vi porto un’illustrazione di Hera Syndulla, uno dei personaggi principali della serie Star Wars Rebels, che ho finito di vedere da poco. Questa serie è ambientata 14 anni dopo gli eventi di “La vendetta dei Sith”.

Hera Syndulla è un’esperta pilota e proprietaria dello Spettro, la nave protagonista di tutta la serie. È nata sul pianeta Ryloth ed è figlia di Cham Syndulla, un altro personaggio molto importante nella storia.
La sua figura mi ha subito colpito perché, nel corso della saga, ha dimostrato di essere molto forte e valorosa, senza però nascondere i suoi sentimenti. Infatti, è proprio lei che si occupa di mantenere unito il gruppo di ribelli e, durante i momenti di difficoltà, ha sempre le parole giuste per tutti. Inoltre, nel corso della saga si può apprezzare il suo amore nei confronti di Kenan, il Jedi leader della ciurma.
Hera Syndulla, come prima accennato, è un ottimo pilota e, infatti, per la sua abilità sorprendente viene promossa a Capitano della Squadriglia Phoenix, il cuore pulsante della ribellione contro l’Impero.

Nell’esercizio di oggi con Adobe Illustrator ho pensato di rappresentare Hera in due versioni. Prima di tutto, ho realizzato le linee guida per l’illustrazione.
Successivamente, ho cercato di riprodurre fedelmente i colori del personaggio, aiutandomi con le foto presenti sul sito ufficiale della saga di Star Wars e ho aggiunto uno sfondo stellare.

La seconda versione, invece, si concentra sui toni del nero e del rosso e ho realizzato un makeover dello stile del personaggio.
Mostro anche alcuni dettagli delle illustrazioni.
