Recently I have drawn friends and also family members, but today I wanted to draw myself. Usually I don't do this but I want to take advantage of the fact that I illustrated my mom and brother a few days ago, and my dad last year, to make group caricatures of the family, and for that I have to include myself. I hope you like the process of creating this illustration.
Recientemente he dibujado amigos y también a miembros de mi familia, pero hoy quise dibujarme a mí mismo. No suelo hacer esto pero quiero aprovechar que ilustré a mi mamá y hermano hace algunos dias, y a mi papá el año pasado, para hacer caricaturas grupales de la familia, y para eso me tengo que incluir a mí. Espero te guste el proceso de creación de esta ilustración.
I used the following materials and tools:
- Recycled paper
- Pencil
- HP Photosmart C3180 Scanner
- Desktop PC
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Software
Los materiales y herramientas usados fueron los siguientes:

First, I made the sketch by hand on a recycled paper sheet.
Primero, realicé el boceto a mano en una hoja de papel de reciclaje.
The next step was to scan the image and open it in the Photoshop design Software. I traced the outline of the drawing with the pencil tool on a new layer, the result is shown below.
El siguiente paso fue escanear la imagen y abrirla en el Software de diseño Photoshop. Tracé el contorno del dibujo con la herramienta lápiz en una capa nueva, el resultado se muestra a continuación.
Then I added color to the illustration.
Luego agregué color a la ilustración.
This is the result after adding some effects and shadows.
