Hi all, today I'm sharing another pastel drawing inspired by the renaissance artist François Boucher. I like the subtlety in his work, his drawings almost fade into the background they were drawn on. With a few lines he is able to capture the expression of the sitter. This is my attempt at one of his drawings below and the process that went into creating it.
Process
Very few pastels were needed for this drawings: mostly brown with a touch of orange. The hgihlihgts were then either created with a rubber to remove colours or some white pastel.
Completed on A5 paper with coloured pastels.
