Welcome back to my other splinterlands post. @splinterlands organizes the Weekly Battle Challenge every week. I appreciate this very much. For this purpose, I can buy new cards every week. This time it was "CORAL WRAITH".
In this post, I'll share my winning Battle Using Weekly Challenge Card "CORAL WRAITH".

But before I share the battle with you, let’s talk about the monster "Octopyder".
Also known as Warlocks of the Ocean, Coral Wraiths are the dark and frightening sorcerers of the deep. Stories say that they were once air breathers who grew tired of life on land. Through a magical alliance with the Mer Dark, they gave up their lives above the water forever.Source
At level one, the "CORAL WRAITH" comes with 2 Magic attack power, 2 Speed, 2 Health with "Sneak" ability.
It cost only 04 mana to use.
As you can see, this card can be upgraded to level 06 which needs a total of 46 cards. At level 06, the "CORAL WRAITH" comes with 3 Magic attack power, 3 Speed, 4 Health with "Sneak" and "Rust" ability.
"Sneak": Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
"Rust": Reduces the Armor of all enemy Monsters.
About The LineUp:
- For this match mana cap was 27.
- And played with the "Standard" rule.
As Summoner and monsters, I was using my WATER Summoner "ALRIC STORMBRINGER" along with "SEA MONSTER" in level 1, "CAPTAIN'S GHOST" in level 1, "CORAL WRAITH" in level 1, "ICE PIXIE" in level 1, "CRUSTACEAN KING" in level 1.
Now Let Me introduced you to The Cards I have Used In The Battle.
SUMMONER: ALRIC STORMBRINGER(RARE WATER Summoner)
"Alric Stormbringer," The oldest ΛZMΛRÉan Summoner, who founded the modern arts of Chaos Magic. As a result, this summoner can increase the Magic attack power of the friendly enemy monsters.
It cost only 03 Mana caps to use in the battle.
NO 1: SEA MONSTER(COMMON Water Monster)
"SEA MONSTER" is a Common Water monster which has the "Heal"ability. At level one, this monster comes with,
4 Melee attack
1 Speed and 8 Health.
Yet "SEA MONSTER" is a Common Water monster, but with the "Heal" and 4 Melee attack power, this monster became demostrative for enemy monsters.
It cost only 08 mana to use in the battle.
NO 2: CAPTAIN'S GHOST(RARE Water Monster)
"CAPTAIN'S GHOST" is a RARE Water monster that has the "Affliction" ability. At level one, this monster comes with,
2 Magic attack
The ability "Affliction" helps "CAPTAIN'S GHOST" to When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed. "CAPTAIN'S GHOST" with combination of "Alric Stormbringer," become very damagable in a battle field.
It cost only 07 mana to use in the battle.
NO 3: CORAL WRAITH(EPIC Water Monster)
"CORAL WRAITH" is a Epic Water monster that has the "Sneak" ability. At level one, this monster comes with,
2 Magic attack
This was the first time, I was using this monster because before today I didn't have this card. I bought this one for the weekly battle challenge and this monster is worth using in a battle. With its 2 magic attacks and "Sneak" ability this monster has a high chance of changing the battle.
It cost only 04 mana to use in the battle.
NO 4: ICE PIXIE(Rare Water Monster)
"ICE PIXIE" is a RARE Water monster that has the "Flying" ability. At level one, this monster comes with,
1 Magic attack
Most of the time I tried to avoid the monsters with low health because losing a monster during battle is a great loss. But "ICE PIXIE" is the monster that I used when I don't have enough mana for choosing another card.
It cost only 02 mana to use in the battle.

Since I was using WATER Summoner "ALRIC STORMBRINGER" which has the ability to increase the magic attack power of all friendly Magic monsters, the 3 magic attack monsters that I was using on the battlefield, their magic attack power increased by one.
On the other hand, my opponent used DRAGON Summoner "DRAKE OF ARNAK"which add extra +2 armor of every friendly monsters.
My opponent was trying to fight against me using the life monster. But the line setup was inaccurate. He was using "Taunt" ability monster "SHIELDBEARER". This "Taunt" ability turns * "SHIELDBEARER" * into the target of all enemy monsters. With its long health and a good amount of armor, this monster can prevent enemy monsters from attacking any friendly monster.
But it is unfortunate for him that I was using 3 magic attacking monsters and all of them were powered by my summoner. Since the Magic attack did not hit the monster's armor, but directly the enemy's health, the "SHIELDBEARER" was constantly losing its health and died at the beginning of round 2.
"CORAL WRAITH" played a important role in this battle. I am really happy with this card. And with "Sneak" ability, This monster is terrible news for the monsters of the last position. Opponent monster "LONE BOATMAN" was hitting my "CAPTAIN'S GHOST". At that moment "CORAL WRAITH" with it's 3 magic attacks power killed "LONE BOATMAN". And in round 3, it killed another enemy magic attack monster.
My "SEA MONSTER" actually took a lot of damage from these enemy monster. But this monster has "Heal" ability that restore a portion of "SEA MONSTER" monsters health each round. Except that I was using another healing monster "CRUSTACEAN KING" which has "Tank Heal" ability. This monster can restore a portion of monster in the first position's health each round. As a result my "SEA MONSTER" stayed alive. By the time opponent's monster was hitting "SEA MONSTER" my others friendly monsters was killing enemy monsters one by one.
Is It Worth Using "CORAL WRAITH" In A Battle?
Of course, "CORAL WRAITH" is very worthy of using in a battle. There are many reasons to use this monster.
With the help of WATER Summoner "ALRIC STORMBRINGER", it gain 3 Magic attack power in battle field. That actually a lot of damage.
And with "Sneak" ability, this monster kill opponent's "Snipe" ability monsters quickly.
