El Poderoso Hipocampo.
La mitología griega está llena de personajes fantásticos y en las profundidades de sus mares se esconden muchas criaturas dignas de leyendas, creo que ya conocen el término Sirena, aquellas chicas que tienen cola de pez y pueden sobrevivir debajo del agua.
Pero alguna vez habías escuchado de un caballo con cola de pez, si no es así entonces te lo presento. Esta criatura tomaba el nombre de Hipocampo, un poderoso corcel marino el cual era capaz de cargar mucho peso y aun así alcanzaba una gran velocidad debajo del mar, cuentan las leyendas que el mismo Poseidón, tenía varias de estas criaturas las cuales servían como medio de transporte para este Dios.
Incluso otras deidades marinas también contaban con un poderoso Hipocampo, este caballo con cola de pez podía llegar a medir 5 metros, por lo que es de imaginarse el enorme poder que tenía esta bestia. Aunque no hay muchos registros sobre ellos por lo menos sabemos que integra y complementa un poco más la fantástica mitología griega.
Por todo lo que representa el Hipocampo, hoy les comparto un arte digital con esta criatura, espero que sea de su agrado.

A cordial greeting to all this great community, today again I want to share with you a post.
Greek mythology is full of fantastic characters and in the depths of its seas hide many creatures worthy of legends, I think you already know the term Mermaid, those girls who have fish tails and can survive underwater.
But have you ever heard of a horse with a fish tail, if not then I present to you. This creature took the name of Hippocampus, a powerful sea steed which was able to carry a lot of weight and still reached a great speed under the sea, legends say that Poseidon himself, had several of these creatures which served as a means of transportation for this God.
Even other marine deities also had a powerful Hippocampus, this horse with a fish tail could reach a height of 5 meters, so it is easy to imagine the enormous power of this beast. Although there are not many records about them, at least we know that it integrates and complements a little more the fantastic Greek mythology.
For all that the Hippocampus represents, today I share with you a digital art with this creature, I hope you like it.
-Primero, dibuje la cabeza del caballo marino.
-First, I drew the head of the sea horse.
-Segundo, expandí un poco más el dibujo hasta su cola.
-Second, I expanded the drawing a little more to its tail.
-Tercero, dibujo sus patas y completo el cuerpo del gran caballo marino.
-Third, I draw its legs and complete the body of the big sea horse.
-Cuarto, agrego detalles al dibujo.
-Fourth, I add details to the drawing.
-Quinto, agrego color a las aletas superiores.
- Fifth, I add color to the upper fins.
-Sexto, agrego las garras características del Hipocampo además de pintar un poco más.
-Sixth, I add the characteristic claws of the Hippocampus and paint a little more.
-Séptimo, pinto el cuerpo del caballo marino.
-Seventh, I paint the body of the sea horse.
-Octavo, agrego algunas sombras que detallan un poco más al Hipocampo.
-Eighth, I add some shadows that detail a little more the Hippocampus.
