On Boarding People

The background sound was composed in my Studio using a Synth module that had a piano I really liked and I used another Groove Machine for soft kicks and snares. I actually also did some stand up comedy in my life, so this is me being funny. Wanted to share this again, since I could not continue the podcast, I once started. Used these voice overs as interludes in the podcasts. One of my friends unfortunately destroyed my DJ's motivation to continue because he said his blending sucked. Hard to get a guy to pick out some of the dusty vinyls that take up half his apartment and try to make him mix again after a 15 years break. He skratches more than he blends and matches. It all sounded perfect until I hit the recording button. Isn't it always like that? I end up trying to collaborate with friends but then left to do everything on my own anyways, so i'm used to it. I think hive is the only place where I actually am able to collaborate with people. Hive means a lot to me !

I am actually a fuzzy guy when it comes to recordings, but one of my favourite guys on hive is actually @termitemusic and his world wide cypher jam, where he calls out emcees that actually collaborate with him. His beats are actually some of my favourite because the dude is also a humble guy. I think someones art always conveys a lot of their personality. The guy is my Ninja brother. You have to check him out in case you don't know him yet.

I wrote this Ad and recorded my voice, then put it over my own composed instrumental. Unfortunately I had to move all my studio equipment out recently because I had my second short circuit in the past six months. Some of the modules I use are from 1995 - 1997. Struggling with old computers and a midi interface from 1995 I used on windows 95 that also stopped working, I actually work with ancient tech. I use only analog synths. I don't like software instruments and I am still stubborn even tho I admit to all the digital natives that emulators have become insane nowadays. I still wanna cop those Roland boutique synths, since the original racks from the 80s are hard to come buy. To all you vintage synth lovers, i'm old skool!

Photo- Taken with a Macro Lens and also #original. I had a few bees on my body but none of them stung me. it did tickle a bit.

Big up bro!!!!!!!

Means a lot. Thanks for stopping by and even more for doing what you do mate! Appreciate you. Gotta hop on one of your beats!

This put a huge smile on my face :>)

I think you were stuck in a time loop ( early 80s ) then you were teleported to the now to promote modern technology / the blockchain.

Love your voice, the message, the story behind the post...

I end up trying to collaborate with friends but then left to do everything on my own anyways, so i'm used to it. I think hive is the only place where I actually am able to collaborate with people. Hive means a lot to me !

Guilty of this ;<)

... and the music in the background. Kind of wish the music was louder as it's very much my style. Usually it's the opposite, music ( behind an interview or advertisement ) is too loud but here it's very subtle.

Great work. You're an awesome advocate for Hive and this deserves to go trending!

Wow! Now that comment is so good, because I believe you also really have the capability to assess that my dear friend.

Actually I am from the future 2059! I went back to 1185, ascended and then reincarnated, lol. ;)

WTF am I doing here?

Thanks for your take on the mixing of the track levels. I have to pay more attention to the mixdown. That's actually something I did go to college for. To lower the levels of the music was intentional and I would refine that if it was for professional purposes.

Are you happy with the @curie, #trending, @c-squared and what they assess for trending? I appreciate their work and see a lot of amazing posts go trending. It's also always when you post and who discovers it? After all this is proof of brain. I guess my taste for art and curating just differs from the masses. Maybe I am stuck in a classic way of liking that 80s vibe but also new age tech. I was teaching at a computer technology center in 1995, but still haven't changed that inquisitive nature to have a child like curiosity towards these things. I don't care about whales in a social class system anyways. I think the content that I curate and find good matters to me and not how much a post earns. I am happy if hive survives and grateful that I don't have to put it on flutube or pissbook, where it isn't mine and they decide to remove it or who sees it? At least here there's you and a few others. Thank you #hive

Thanks for stopping by mate!

You have missed your calling in advertising!! Awesome!! You actually have a perfect global voice - just "white enough" but with some really nice "I'm not from here" nuances in your enunciation that make it inclusive and welcoming. So how about uploading this to #3speak and adding images?? So we can use it freely on our "out there" social media?? Dare you to. 😆 Loved the very chill background sounds.... reminds me of a cafe in Carnaby Street in London circa 2001 when I heard my first very laid back chill house sounds.

@artemislives Very encouraging comment. Currently working on some video edits, but it's for historical events like the DPC Jam. Since I make the music as well as the filming and editing, as a OMA, that takes me ages to do. If I needed appreciation here I would be long gone. Maybe i'm just good enough for myself within my process of becoming? I recently dug out some old tracks that were extremely experimental. I have to find the original multitrack source files on DVD CD backups in an old box stuck in my parents attic. Tried many things in life and I guess I should just be employed to save for crypto investments. I wish everyone to have the time and space to follow their passions...
