Amigos estaba por compartirles el proceso de este bello vestido, pero motivos de falta de tiempo no les había enseñado el tutorial de este vestido sencillo con capa fruncida abajo en tela de muselina que hice para mi,había mandado a comprar algunas telas con mi mamá ya que recientemente ella fue donde las venden y no pasé la oportunidad para decirle que me trajera una tela para este vestido que tenía en mente,si bien yo llevaba tiempo por querer hacer este diseño abajo de los vestidos no lo habia aprendido a hacer ya que no fruncia por completo esa capa que el vestido lleva abajo y alli es donde veía lo difícil,aunque parece fácil la verdad no lo es ya que hay que hacer este proceso con un poco de paciencia porque trabajar estas telas es un poco complicado pero no imposible,con calma al final pude hacerlo y ya me quedó exactamente como lo queria sencillo pero que se diferenciar de los demas vestidos que tenia,aparte que me estan gustando últimamente los vestidos largos y simples porque son más elegantes y simplemente solo tienes que colocarte una pieza encima a menos que quieras usarla con sobretodo o tops manga larga o corta dependiendo del gusto de cada persona,en mi caso lo hice para variar con varios tops que tengo, escogí una tela de estampado que combinara casi con mis tops,espero les guste y no se pierdan el resultado final ,queda muy lindo✨💗.

Friends, I was going to share the process of making this beautiful dress with you, but due to lack of time, I hadn't yet shown you the tutorial for this simple dress with a gathered underskirt in muslin fabric that I made for myself. I had sent my mom to buy some fabrics since she recently went to the fabric store, and I didn't miss the opportunity to ask her to bring me some fabric for this dress I had in mind. Although I had wanted to make this design under dresses for a while, I hadn't learned how to do it because I couldn't gather the underskirt completely, and that's where I saw the difficulty. Although it seems easy, it really isn't, since you have to do this process with a little patience because working with these fabrics is a bit complicated, but not impossible. With patience, I finally managed to do it, and it turned out exactly as I wanted: simple but different from the other dresses I have. Besides, lately I've been liking long, simple dresses because they are more elegant, and you just have to put something on over them unless you want to wear it with an overcoat or long- or short-sleeved tops, depending on each person's taste. I made this to mix things up with several tops I have. I chose a patterned fabric that almost matched my tops. I hope you like it and don't miss the final result, it looks really cute! ✨💗

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:

Paso 01

Verán siempre que empiezo a cortar la tela me encanta hacerlo por las piezas de los talles delanteros (La blusa de los vestidos)porque me gusta asegurar ai la tela que me sobra me alcanza para la falda del vestido , entonces una vez corto la blusa delantera y trasera con confianza puedo medir el largo que quiero a la tela que me sobró y proceder a cortar,antes corto las mangas luego la pieza de la falda en este caso hice un cuadro de 70 cm de largo x 100 cm de ancho,luego la capa del vestido abajo es un rectángulo de 150 cm de ancho(todo el ancho que trae la tela ) x 35 cm de largo,por último cortamos el bias por el ancho de nuestro cuello por 2 cm menos de esa cantidad.

Step 01

You'll see that whenever I start cutting fabric, I love to begin with the front bodice pieces (the bodice of the dresses) because I like to make sure that the leftover fabric is enough for the skirt. So, once I've cut the front and back bodice pieces with confidence, I can measure the length I want from the leftover fabric and proceed to cut. First, I cut the sleeves, then the skirt piece. In this case, I made a square 70 cm long x 100 cm wide. Then, the underlayer of the dress is a rectangle 150 cm wide (the full width of the fabric) x 35 cm long. Finally, we cut the bias tape to the width of our neckline, plus 2 cm less than that.

Paso 02

Vamos a pasar a coser ahora,y empezamos por los hombros uniremos por el revés de la tela frente con frente la pieza del talle delantero de la blusa y la de atras y Coseremos los hombros,luego abrimos la pieza ,ubicaremos las mangas en el centro de la unión de los hombros la mitad de la manga a la sisa y la cosemos por el borde,recuerden aiempre colocar un alfiler en el centro de ambas piezas para coser,luego cerramos la blusa y cosemos para sellar los costados de la punta de la manga hasta abajo de la blusa.

Step 02

Now we're going to sew, starting with the shoulders. We'll join the front bodice piece and the back bodice piece, wrong sides together, and sew the shoulders. Then we'll open the piece, position the sleeves in the center of the shoulder seam, halfway down the sleeve to the armhole, and sew them along the edge. Remember to always place a pin in the center of both pieces before sewing. Then we'll close the blouse and sew the side seams from the sleeve tip to the bottom of the blouse to seal them.

Paso 03

He cosido las piezas con overclock y les he pasado nuevamente una costura recta por los costados para evitar se abra la tela,ahora vamos a coser el borde de la manga oara hacer el ruedo, cosemos también la unión de la falda y fruncimos la parte de abajo del rectángulo,esta pieza es fruncida ,para ello he usado la costura a número 4 de ancho y luego fuí tirando el hilo para ir frunciendo la tela y volverla a coser mueven a la tela del cuadrado de la falda pero abajo con overclock y recta lo he cosido.

Step 03

I sewed the pieces with an overlock stitch and then added a straight stitch along the sides to prevent the fabric from opening. Now we're going to sew the edge of the sleeve to make the hem. We also sew the skirt seam and gather the bottom part of the rectangle. This piece is gathered; for this, I used a number 4 stitch width and then pulled the thread to gather the fabric and sew it again. I moved the fabric from the skirt square, but I sewed it at the bottom with an overlock and straight stitch.

Paso 04

Procedo a coser con costura recta nuevamente en la parte de el lado vertical del vestido de arriba hacia abajo,por el borde del vestido lo cosí con overclock y le hice el ruedo de 1.5 cm aproximadamente yo acostumbro a hacer los ruedos de las prendas de este tamaño.Nos vamos seguido de ese paso a unir las piezas de la falda con la blusa haciendo pequeños fruncidos,si notamos que nos queda ancha está parte de la cintura pues no importa ya que le colocaremos el elástico y eso evitará que nos quede ancha..

Step 04

I proceed to sew a straight stitch again along the vertical side of the dress from top to bottom. I overlocked the edge of the dress and hemmed it approximately 1.5 cm; I usually hem garments of this size. Following that step, we join the skirt pieces to the blouse, making small gathers. If we notice that this part of the waist is too wide, it doesn't matter, as we will add elastic and that will prevent it from being too loose.

Paso 05

Coseremos el bias uniendo cada extremo y lo ubicaremos por dentro del cuello de la blusa del vestido y cosemos con costura recta no tan ajustada ya que al estirar puede partir el hilo,luego repisamos por encima con costura recta haciendo un pequeño dobladillo para el cuello sencillo,cosemos el borde de la manga y colocamos para finalizar con una costura recta y por el contorno de la cintura el elástico (El ancho va a depender de que tan ajustado quieres tu vestido en la cintura,mayormente yo acostumbro a colocar elástico de 70 cm para talla M 80/90 cm la cintura de la persona a quien tomaremos la medida).

Step 05

We will sew the bias tape by joining each end and place it inside the neckline of the dress blouse and sew with a straight stitch, not too tight since it can break when stretched. Then we will sew over it with a straight stitch making a small hem for the simple neckline. We will sew the edge of the sleeve and finally attach the elastic with a straight stitch around the waist circumference (The width will depend on how fitted you want your dress at the waist; I usually use 70 cm of elastic for size M, 80/90 cm for the waist of the person whose measurement we will take).

Here's the finished dress on display. I liked how it looks on the mannequin. Hay cosas que se ven fácil en las costuras pero si tienen su nivel de complejidad . Te quedó hermosa esta confección, el acabado al final del vestido me encantó y ademas el estampado de la tela le quedó perfecto. 🧵✂️
