Greetings creative community around the world, happy and blessed Tuesday, I am happy to share with you my entry to the contest: Spring flowers, promoted by @equipodelta, for my participation I made a fabric flower to decorate my sewing notebook, because; soon God willing, I will start the second part of the sewing course I did last year and I wanted to personalize my notebook with a flower that in turn serves as a pincushion, to make it I used printed and unicolor fabrics; one of the sewing projects I most enjoy doing is baby linen, so one of the petals of the flower is a fabric with children's motifs, the other fabrics are vanilla colored and printed monkey fabric, also blue waterproof fabric, the monkey and waterproof fabrics have the advantage that they do not loose threads and you can make petals and different figures without sewing, however the dacron fabric (printed with baby motifs), requires sewing as well as the green fabric of the leaves, it is a simple flower to make and with double function. Saludos comunidad creativa en todo el mundo, feliz y bendecido martes, me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso: Flores de Primavera, promovido por @equipodelta, para mi participación elaboré una flor de tela para adornar mi cuaderno de apuntes de costura, ya que; pronto Dios mediante, voy a iniciar la segunda parte del curso de costura que hice el año pasado y quise personalizar mi cuaderno de apuntes con una flor que a su vez sirve de alfiletero, para hacerla utilicé telas estampadas y unicolor; uno de los proyecto de costura que más disfruto hacer es lencería para bebé por ello uno de los pétalos de la flor es una tela con motivos infantiles, las otras telas son tela de mono color vainilla y estampada, también tela impermeable azul, las telas de mono e impermeables tienen la ventaja que se no sueltan hilos y puedes hacer pétalos y diferentes figuras sin necesidad de coser, sin embargo la tela dacrón (estampada con motivos de bebé), requiere costura al igual que la tela verde de las hojas, es una flor sencilla de hacer y con doble función. How to make it?
With a sheet of pellon we line the notebook, adding silicone on the ends and folding it inwards.

We mark the petals, the leaves and the center of the flower on the different fabrics.
Marcamos los pétalos, las hojas y el centro de la flor en las diferentes telas.
With a straight stitch, facing right to right, we sew the petal in baby fabric and the leaves, leaving the bottom part unsewn, cut the excess fabric and turn the piece over with the help of a toothpick.

With a zig zag stitch we make the ribs of the leaves and cut all the pieces of the flower.
Con puntada de zig zag hacemos las nervaduras de las hojas y cortamos todas las piezas de la flor.
Fill the white circle with wadding and close with hand stitching to form a ball.
Rellenamos el círculo blanco con guata y cerramos con puntadas a mano hasta formar una bola.
We join the petals with hand stitching, then we pucker until we reach the desired size, we finish the stitching and glue the center of the flower (pistil) and glue the leaves under the petals; finally we glue the magic clasp behind the flower and on the notebook.
Unimos los pétalos con costura a mano, luego fruncimos hasta lograr el tamaño deseado, rematamos la costura y pegamos el centro de la flor (pistilo) y pegamos las hoja debajo de los pétalos; para finalizar pegamos cierre mágico detrás de la flor y en el cuaderno.
This is how the flower is finished to decorate the notebook and have the pins at hand when sewing, the pincushions are very important when developing a sewing project, the pins are very useful while sewing with them we hold the pieces of the garments even assemble the garment to verify that the pieces match and are complete, this requires a little more time in the sewing process but it is an excellent idea to avoid mishaps and if necessary make the necessary corrections to obtain a good finish, this is the second pincushion I make for myself and I am very happy with the result; I can remove the flower, copy the notes in the course and then put it back in the notebook to make it look beautiful.
Así está terminada la flor para decorar el cuaderno y tener los alfileres a la mano al momento de coser, los alfileteros son muy importantes al momento de elaborar un proyecto de costura, los alfileres son de gran utilidad mientras cosemos con ellos sujetamos las piezas de las prendas incluso armar la prenda para verificar que las piezas coincidan y estén completas, esto requiere un poco más de tiempo en el proceso de costura pero es una excelente idea para evitar contratiempos y hacer si hace falta las correcciones necesarias para obtener un buen acabado, este es el segundo alfiletero que hago para mi y estoy muy feliz con el resultado; puedo quitar la flor, copiar los apuntes en el curso y luego ponerla nuevamente en el cuaderno para que luzca muy hermoso.
