These days things have happened that have tested my serenity, if anything has helped me to stay calm are the crafts, I started to weave trying to remember what my mother taught me, that weaving inspired me to make a basket weaving the fomi, for me it was interesting if I could achieve it and the strips were linked perfectly. I was amazed with the result, I loved it, I think it can be multipurpose, because instead of flowers we could put candies and sweets to give, use it as an organizer for pencils, colors, pens, markers, office supplies, also as souvenirs to give, inside we can put many things and because it is so small it looks very cute.

Mantener nuestra mente ocupada con algo, evitar el ocio, nos mantiene productivos y de buen ánimo.
Estos días han pasado cosas en las que ha puesto a prueba mi serenidad, si algo me ha ayudado a mantenerme en calma son las manualidades, comencé a tejer tratando de recordar lo que mi madre me enseñaba, ese tejido me inspiró a realizar una cesta tejiendo el fomi, para mi era interesante si podría lograrlo y las tiras quedaran enlazadas perfectamente. Me asombré con el resultado, me encantó, pienso que puede ser multipropósitos, pues en vez de las flores podríamos colocarle dulces y chucherías para regalar, usarlo como organizador de lapices, colores, lapiceros, marcadores, cositas de oficina, también como recuerditos para regalar, dentro podremos poner muchas cosas y por ser tan pequeñita se ve muy cute.

Step 1️⃣
Cut the cup to the height you want.
Cut some strips of fomi approximately 1.5 centimeters wide by the length of the letter size foami. Use two different colors, repeat this step as many times as you need.
In the same way, cut other strips but thinner, approximately 0.5 centimeters wide by the length of the letter size foami.
Paso 1️⃣
Corta el vaso con la altura que deseas.
Corta unas tiras de fomi de aproximadamente 1.5 centímetros de ancho por el largo del foami tamaño carta. usa dos colores diferentes, repite este paso las veces que necesites.
De la misma forma, corta otras tiras pero más delgadas de aproximadamente 0.5 centímetros de ancho por el largo del foami tamaño carta.
Step 2️⃣
Perhaps this is the part that is a little difficult, which is to get the strips to fit perfectly in the glass. In my case the measurements were just right, there were no problems.
Place a dot of hot silicone on the tip of the foami and glue it on the glass with care because it can melt, you will be alternating between one color and another to achieve the interlacing as shown in the images.
Paso 2️⃣
Quizá esta sea la parte un poco difícil que es lograr que las tiras cuadren perfectas en el vaso. En mi caso las medidas fueron justas, no hubo problemas.
Coloca un punto de silicón caliente en la punta del foami y pégalo en el vaso con cuidado pues puede derretirse irás intercalando entre un color y otro para lograr el entrelazado como muestra las imágenes.
Step 3️⃣
Continue intertwining each of the strips until you reach the cup of the glass. Cut off the excess foami strip, leaving approximately 1.5 centimeters left over.
Place a dot of hot silicone on each end of the foami and fold it into the cup.
Paso 3️⃣
Continua entrelazando cada una de las tiras hasta llegar a la copa del vaso. Recorta el excedente de la tira de foami, dejando aproximadamente 1,5 centímetros de sobra.
Coloca un punto de silicón caliente en cada punta de foami y dobla hacia dentro del vaso.
Step 4️⃣
Take the thinner strips of foami and make a braid, you need two pieces of it.
Glue one of the pieces to the edge of the cup and the other one put a dot of hot silicone on each end to make the handle.
Paso 4️⃣
Toma las tiras más delgadas del foami y realiza un trenzado, necesitas dos piezas de esta.
Pega una de las piezas en el borde del vaso y la otra coloca un punto de silicón caliente en cada extremo para hacer el asa.
Step 5️⃣
This part is optional, as I said at the beginning, you can use the multipurpose basket, I just wanted to show the interlacing of them, however I have made these tiny flowers to decorate.
Paso 5️⃣
Esta parte es opcional, como dije al principio, puedes usar la cesta multipropósitos, solo quería mostrar el entrelazado de las mismas, sin embargo he realizado estas flores pequeñitas para decorar.
Make as many flowers as you need to cover the basket, in my case only five were enough.
Glue one by one covering the spaces. If you still have empty spaces it is good to fill them with some foliage made with the same foami.
This way you will have finished making the mini basket. I hope you like it.
Realiza la cantidad de flores que necesites para cubrir la cesta, en mi caso solo cinco bastaron.
Pega una a una cubriendo los espacios. Si aún te quedan espacios vacíos es bueno llenarlos con un poco de follaje hecho con el mismo foami.
De esta forma habrás terminado de hacer la mini cesta. Espero sea de tu total agrado.

Te quedó muy linda la cesta. Las manualidades don una de las mejores terapias que hay para combatir el ocio y evitar pensamientos tristes o mortificaciones.

Hola amiga que bonita te quedo esta cesta de flores y sobre todo cada detalle que tienen las flores, además para hacer todo eso se necesita de muchas paciencias y concentración, ya que un mal movimiento se puede destruir todo.
