¡Hola, amigos! Les doy la bienvenida a mi Blog. Espero que todos estén muy bien. En esta oportunidad y como ya casi estamos cerca de Diciembre,cerca de la navidad, la eopca para mi mas bella del año!.
Decidí hacer este Nacimiento, con la técnica de vidrio fundido o vitrofusión, el cual lo podemos regalar como un hermoso y único detalle navideño.
La navidad es un término que significa Nacimiento, es la época de dar y recibir amor. Celebramos el nacimiento de Jesus o Cristo y donde tenemos la
oportunidad de compartir con nuestros seres queridos, época de reencuentros, de felicidad, paz y armonía.
Asi mis amigos, les mostraré como se puede transformar un simple vidrio transparente en una pieza original.
En anteriores post ya he escrito sobre la vitrofusión, creación de dijes de vidrio como pieza ornamental y también les mostré como realice mi vitral incrustado en la escalera, los cuales espero los hayan leído y si no los invito a que lo lean.
Sin más, vamos… manos a la obra.
Hello friends! I welcome you to my Blog. I hope that everybody are very well. In this opportunity and since we are almost close to December, close to Christmas, the time for my most beautiful of the year!
I decided to make this Nativity, with the technique of molten glass or vitrofusion, which we can give as a beautiful and unique Christmas detail.
Christmas is a term that means Birth, it is the time to give and receive love. We celebrate the birth of Jesus or Christ and where we have the
opportunity to share with our loved ones, a time of reunions, happiness, peace and harmony.
So my friends, I will show you how you can transform a simple transparent glass into an original piece.
In previous posts I have already written about glass fusion, creating glass pendants as an ornamental piece and I also showed you how to make my stained glass window embedded in the staircase, which I hope you have read and if not I invite you to read it.
Materiales y Herramientas:
- Vidrios de diferentes texturas y tamaños.
- Pegamento barra de silicón transparente
- Pegamento blanco
- Horno para vitrofusión
- Alcohol
- Guantes, Lentes y cortador de vidrio.
- Alambre de bronce
Materials and Tools:
- Glass of different textures and sizes.
- Transparent silicone glue stick
- white glue
- Furnace for glass fusion
- alcohol
- Gloves, Lenses and glass cutter.
- Bronze wire
Como siempre comencé plasmando el diseño, en una hoja de papel y luego de dibujarlo procedí a colocar el vidrio y calcarlo, para luego cortar el vidrio con el cortador y con las debidas medidas de seguridad, lentes, guantes y delantal.

Los lleve al horno a una temperatura de 800 grados centígrados por una hora exacta.
Una vez frio el horno, se retira la pieza ya lista, los vidrios se lavan con jabón para quitarle los restos de la quema y del separador.

Trabajar con esta técnica de vitrofusion o vidrio fundido, que consiste en para fundir dos o más vidrios en un horno con altas temperaturas, para formar una pieza única; nos hace creadores y transformadores de la esencia del vidrio y a plasmar nuestras habilidades artisticas en el mismo, loque para mi personalmente me llena y me nutre.
Esta pieza, es un proyecto el cual vieme cargado de mucha energía, porque no solo estamos elaborando una pieza única, sin igual, sin par; sino que estamos exaltando el espiritú navideño en forma de nacimiento, con los tres personajes, la Virgen, José y el Niño.
Los invito a que lo puedan poner en práctica y entren a este maravilloso arte, el cual aca en Venezuela, no es muy conocido.
