Hoy les vengo a presentar una manualidad que he realizado con materiales de desecho, puesto que estos materiales los he adquirido en un aserradero que queda cerca de la casa donde vivo, esta manualidad que he creado se trata de una porta vasos artesanal que le hice a mi esposa para que pudiera colocar los vasos de manera mucho más cómoda a la hora de limpiarlos y utilizarlos.
La madera son todas unos retazos que en el aserradero no necesitan, ya sea porque son los sobrantes de un trabajo que hicieron o porque tengan algún defecto en específico, ya sea porque el árbol este muy viejo o muy verde para poderlos picar.

Today I come to present a craft that I have made with scrap materials, since these materials I have acquired in a sawmill that is near the house where I live, this craft that I have created is a handmade glass holder that I made for my wife so she could place the glasses in a much more comfortable way when cleaning and using them.
The wood are all scraps that the sawmill does not need, either because they are the leftovers of a job they did or because they have a specific defect, either because the tree is too old or too green to chop them.
Los materiales que utilice para crear mi manualidad son los siguientes:
Serrucho.
Clavos.
Martillo.
Lija para lijar madera.
Metro.
Lápiz.
Molde de flores.
Pincel.
Colores como:
Marrón.
Amarillo.

The materials I used to create my craft are as follows:

Sandpaper for sanding wood.

Para comenzar a realizar esta manualidad, primero necesite dos palos de que se usan para las escobas, las mismas encontré en el aserradero, también necesite dos pedazos de madera con forma de cuadrado, lugar en donde van a ir montados los vasos junto con sus respectivos soportes, y un listón largo para que me sirva de columna para sostener la otra plataforma que usaré para la parte superior de los vasos.
Posteriormente, comencé a medir con la ayuda de un metro cada uno de los palos que se usan para las escobas a unos 18 centímetros de largo, estos son los soportes para colocar los vasos sobre ellos, ya que tienen que tener una separación entre la parte inferior del soporte para vasos para así puedan secarse de la mejor manera, ya que nos suele pasar que cuando lavamos los vasos y los colocamos boca abajo, tienen a tener un mal olor producto a que no tenían ventilación en esa posición.
Después de haber medido comencemos a usar el serrucho para picar cada uno de los palos que usaremos para hacer el porta vasos, en mi caso use un total de 8 soportes, cuatro para la parte superior y otros cuatro para la parte inferior.
To start making this craft, first I needed two broomsticks, the same ones I found at the sawmill, I also needed two pieces of wood in the shape of a square, where the glasses will be mounted along with their respective supports, and a long ribbon to serve as a column to hold the other platform that I will use for the top of the glasses.
Subsequently, I began to measure with the help of a meter each of the sticks that are used for brooms about 18 inches long, these are the supports to place the glasses on them, as they have to have a separation between the bottom of the support for glasses so they can dry in the best way, as it usually happens that when we wash the glasses and place them upside down, they have to have a bad smell because they had no ventilation in that position.
After having measured let's start using the saw to chop each of the sticks that we will use to make the glass holder, in my case I used a total of 8 supports, four for the top and four for the bottom.
Más adelante para la Columna que sostendrá ambas plataformas, lo medí con el metro a unos 30 centímetros de largo, ya que tienen que tener una separación lo bastante alta para poder colocar y quitar los vasos sin ningún tipo de complicaciones.
Luego de medir lo picamos también con el serrucho con mucho cuidado, si les sucede que de repente el serrucho se queda pegado es porque al momento de calentarse el hierro del serrucho tiende a ponerse muy rústico, provocando que la madera se caliente y evite que el serrucho corte, este problema lo podemos resolver de dos formas, la primera es descansar y dejar que se enfríe como máximo un minuto o bien echarle aceite de carro que ya no usemos, mejor seria aceite de carro quemado, al hacerlo el serrucho trabajara de mejor manera y no se calentara, permitiendo cortar la madera de manera mucho más cómoda.
Al terminar de picar todos los pedazos que vamos a utilizar, el siguiente paso será pasarle una lija para así quitarle las porosidades que la madera tiene, también nos ayudara a quitar los pedazos de madera que sobresalen del mismo.

When we finish chopping all the pieces that we are going to use, the next step will be to pass a sandpaper to remove the porosities that the wood has, it will also help us to remove the pieces of wood that protrude from it.
Al terminar de pasarle la lija podemos notar como nos quedan los pedazos de madera al pasarle la lija, están mucho más suaves y lisas, perfectos para pintar sobre ellas.
Luego, para la columna del porta vasos, comencé a usar algunas pinturas para decorarla y así hacerla más bonita, ya que es un regalo para mi esposa.
Con la ayuda del color marrón, comencé a pintar totalmente la columna, al terminar comenzaré a darle algunos destellos de blanco para darle más belleza a la manualidad.
When we finish sanding, we can notice how the pieces of wood are much softer and smoother, perfect to paint on them.
Then, for the column of the glass holder, I started to use some paints to decorate it and make it prettier, since it is a gift for my wife.
With the help of the brown color, I started to paint completely the column, when finished I will start to give it some flashes of white to give more beauty to the craft.
Con la ayuda del cepillo de dientes y el color blanco, comencé a sumergir el cepillo de dientes para poderle dar una muy linda decoración a la columna de esta manualidad.
Podemos notar como nos está quedando de lindo, la verdad me encanta este efecto de puntos blanco que hice con el cepillo de dientes.
Ahora comenzaré a agregarle algunos colores extras y decoraciones, por lo que usaré el color amarillo, verde y blanco.
With the help of the toothbrush and the white color, I started to dip the toothbrush to give a very nice decoration to the column of this craft.
We can see how nice it is getting, I really love this white dots effect that I made with the toothbrush.
Now I will start adding some extra colors and decorations, so I will use yellow, green and white.
Gracias al molde de las flores, lo coloqué sobre la columna del portavaso y use el amarillo para las flores de los girasoles, a mi esposa le encantan los girasoles, por lo que quería agregarle algunos.
También le agregué algunas ramas de flores por los alrededores de los girasoles, para los puntos que están en medio de los girasoles use la parte inferior del pincel para recrear los puntos y la decoración de estos.
Al terminar de pitar toda la columna, mi siguiente paso fue clavar los clavos donde colocaré el soporte de los vasos más la columna del mismo.
Thanks to the flower mold, I placed it on the column of the cup holder and used yellow for the sunflower flowers, my wife loves sunflowers, so I wanted to add some.
I also added some flower branches around the sunflowers, for the dots in the middle of the sunflowers I used the bottom of the brush to recreate the dots and the decoration of the sunflowers.
When I finished the whole column, my next step was to hammer the nails where I will place the support of the glasses plus the column of the same.
Podemos notar como clave y deje la separación de cada uno de los clavos, por último los fui clavando poco a poco y sobre cada uno de ellos coloque los pedazos de madera que había recortado y lijado sobre cada uno de los clavos que anteriormente había clavado.
En las esquinas van cuatro soportes de vasos tanto en la parte inferior como en la parte superior, en el medio de la columna coloqué la otra plataforma con los soportes de los vasos, y de esta manera hice esta manualidad.
Me gustan mucho las manualidades con madera, puesto que considero que es un tipo de arte muy hermoso y bien trabajado, toma su tiempo en hacer cada uno de ellos, por lo que los resultados son satisfactorios.
Esta manualidad lo hice sin imágenes de referencia, por lo que fue sacado de mi mente.

I like very much the crafts with wood, since I consider that it is a very beautiful and well worked type of art, it takes time to make each one of them, so the results are satisfactory.
