Aprovechando que estamos en construcción en mi hogar, decidí inventar un poco con la mezcla de cemento, con el pasar de los años varios materos se me han quebrado o están muy deteriorados así que me puse manos a la obra para practicar y hacer algunos materos de cemento y como digo yo: “Echando a perder se aprende”

Taking advantage of the fact that we are under construction in my home, I decided to invent a bit with the cement mixture, over the years several flower pots have broken or are very deteriorated, so I got down to work to practice and make some flower pots out of cement and as I say: "by spoiling you learn"
Al principio yo creo que todos tenemos miedo a hacer las cosas, pero si no nos proponemos no lo lograremos jamás, el cemento es algo fácil de trabajar, en mi hogar, la que hace las reparaciones soy yo, para orientarme, busco vídeos en Internet, pregunto a mis amigos y conocidos y poco a poco he ido aprendiendo, en esta ocasión quise hacer algunos materos para reemplazar los que con el pasar de los años están ya muy dañados y asi darle un mejor aspecto a mi hogar y aquí les dejo el paso a paso:

Para hacer los materos, vamos a necesitar:
- Cemento
- Arena cernida (puede ser amarilla o azul)
- Herramientas como espatula o que les sirva para mezclar el cemento
- envases plásticos o de cartón de diferentes tamaños
- para darle algo de forma utilice hojas de árbol grandes
To make the mats, we are going to need:
- Cement
- Sifted sand (can be yellow or blue)
- Tools such as spatula or that serve to mix the cement
- plastic or cardboard containers of different sizes
- to give it some shape use large tree leaves
Primero haremos nuestra mezcla, las medidas de cada ingrediente es: por cada 2 medidas de arena le colocaremos 1 medida de cemento y agua suficiente para que la mezcla quede homogénea, para que más o menos tengan una idea como debe quedar, esta debe quedar un poco aguada pero no tanto.
Para mi primer matero utilicé una taza plástica, está la cubrí con hojas de árbol en la parte interna, las hojas se deben colocar con la parte del revés hacia arriba, ya que es la parte que tiene más relieve, tratamos de fijarlas con tirro o adhesivo, tratando de cubrir toda la taza.
First we will make our mixture, the measurements of each ingredient are: for every 2 measures of sand we will place 1 measure of cement and enough water so that the mixture is homogeneous, so that they more or less have an idea of how it should be, it should be a a little watered down but not that much.
For my first flower pot I used a plastic cup, I covered it with tree leaves on the inside, the leaves should be placed with the wrong side up, since it is the part that has the most relief, we try to fix them with a throw or adhesive, trying to cover the entire cup.
Al tener todo el envase cubierto de hojas, comenzaremos a colocarle la mezcla, la llenaremos, aproximadamente hasta la mitad de la taza que utilicemos, a esta la vamos a golpear un poco por los lados para que la mezcla bote el aire que queda, luego colocaremos adentro de ella una taza que sea un poco más pequeña y está la untaremos con un poco de aceite para que al desmoldar sea mas fácil, también la llenaremos de piedra adentro para que le haga peso al cemento y pueda empujarlo para que este de la forma.
By having the entire container covered with leaves, we will begin to place the mixture, we will fill it, approximately up to half of the cup that we use, we will hit this a little on the sides so that the mixture throws out the remaining air, then We will place a cup inside of it that is a little smaller and we will grease it with a little oil so that when demolding it is easier, we will also fill it with stone inside so that it gives weight to the cement and can push it so that it is in the same position. form.
El mismo procedimiento lo repetí con varios moldes, hice algunos con carton, para desmoldar debemos esperar al menos 24 horas para que la mezcla puede estar completamente seca, luego de desmoldar los dejamos llevar sol si es posible por 1 día mas.
Luego de desmoldar aprovechamos que la mezcla está un poco húmeda y cuidadosamente con algo filoso le abrimos un pequeño orificio en la parte de abajo para que el agua pueda salir y ya están listas para poder decorarlos o sembrar nuestras hermosas plantas.
I repeated the same procedure with several moulds, I also made some cardboard, to unmold we must wait at least 24 hours so that the mixture can be completely dry, after unmolding we let them sunbathe if possible for 1 more day.
After unmolding, we take advantage of the fact that the mixture is a little wet and carefully with something sharp we open a small hole in the bottom part so that the water can come out and they are ready to decorate or sow our beautiful plants.
