Saludos Comunidad, es mi primera vez compartiendo por acá, espero poder interactuar más a menudo con ustedes porque he visto en su Blog cosas estupendas.
Desde muy pequeña me gustaron las artes manuales y como maestra fue un don que desarrollé para apoyar a mis niños con condición especial en su proceso de aprendizaje. Más adelante, cuando nacieron mis hijas las iba ayudando con sus tareas del colegio y siempre de un modo u otro me he mantenido haciendo manualidades.
Durante un tiempo incluso, vendía en algunas ferias navideñas algunas creaciones como nacimientos hechos de masa flexible, piezas bordadas con plastic canvas, tarjetería con quilling, entre otras cosas que he hecho de diferente tipo.
Aunado a esto, siempre me he encargado de los recuerdos y decoraciones en los cumpleaños de mis hijas y sobrinos, y cualquier evento especial como bautizo, comunión, matrimonio, graduación y paré de contar. Así que podría decir que teniendo 4 hijas y más de 20 sobrinos he tenido bastantes ocupaciones con las manualidades, a las que ahora se suman las de mis nietos.

Greetings Community, this is my first time sharing here, I hope to interact more often with you because I have seen great things in your Blog.
Since I was a little girl I liked manual arts and as a teacher it was a gift that I developed to support my children with special conditions in their learning process. Later, when my daughters were born I was helping them with their homework at school and always in one way or another I have kept myself doing handicrafts.
For a while, I even sold in some Christmas fairs some creations such as nativity scenes made of flexible dough, embroidered pieces with plastic canvas, card making with quilling, among other things I have done of different kinds.
In addition to this, I have always been in charge of the gifts and decorations for the birthdays of my daughters and nephews, and any special event such as baptism, communion, marriage, graduation and I stop counting. So I could say that having 4 daughters and more than 20 nephews and nieces, I have had my hands full with crafts, and now I have my grandchildren.
En esta oportunidad, quiero compartirles los recuerdos que hice para la comunión de mi nieto Miguel, a pesar de que por la situación de pandemia no organizamos ninguna celebración, quería que el tuviera un recuerdo de este día tan especial que pudiera hacerle llegar a sus maestras y amigos cercanos, además que me sentía bastante extraña si no hacía algo para él a diferencia de mis otras nietas.
Por ello que me puse manos a la obra y decidí hacer unas “Bendiciones para el Hogar”.
Las bendiciones para el hogar son un manojo de cintas de colores iguales o diferentes amarradas y unidas con un aro y al final de cada cinta coloco las medallas de las diferentes advocaciones de la Virgen. Son para colgarlas en el pomo de las puertas principales o de entrada al hogar o en cualquier otro sitio donde transite la familia y visitantes, para que ellas puedan derramar sus bendiciones sobre todos.
Vamos con el paso a paso:

So I got down to work and decided to make some "Blessings for the home".
The Blessings for the home are a bunch of ribbons of the same or different colors tied together with a ring and at the end of each ribbon I place the medals of the different invocations of the Virgin. They are to be hung on the doorknob of the main doors or at the entrance of the home or any other place where the family and visitors pass by, so that they can shower their blessings on everyone.

Cortar las cintas y el hilo cola de rata con una medida de medio metro c/u, unirlas y doblarlas a la mitad, hacer un amarre con nudo a unos 10 cm del doblez y finalmente meter los aritos, luego las Vírgenes y adornos dentro de las cintas, sacar el final de la cinta por los aritos y pegar, después de terminadas poner un aro dentro del manojo de cintas sobre el nudo.

Me encanta hacer estas bendiciones, primero por mi fe en la Virgen María que nos da su protección y socorro en todo momento en nuestras necesidades y preocupaciones y que más que estás Bendiciones para protegernos y segundo porque gustan mucho y me las solicitan para regalarlas en diferentes ocasiones para detalles de cumpleaños, Día de las Madres, en Navidad y también son perfectas para recuerdos de Primera Comunión, Bautizos, Confirmaciones, bodas y otras celebraciones.
De acuerdo a la ocasión se pueden escoger los colores de las cintas y medallas de preferencia y siempre las acompañó de una oración:
La bendición del hogar
Este manojo de cintas distintas todas, representa la pluralidad presente en una familia.
Todos somos distintos, pero todos tenemos algo en común “la unión familiar”, en este caso representada por el aro que recoge el manojo de cintas, qué mejor que la protección de la Virgen en sus diferentes advocaciones para la bendición de tu hogar.
Sin duda alguna, ellas te acompañarán siempre.
Cuélgalo en el pomo de la puerta de la entrada principal de tu hogar o en cualquier sitio de paso obligado, para que ellas puedan derramar sus bendiciones sobre las personas que viven contigo o las que visitan.
