Hace un tiempo, estaba estudiando en la universidad las facultades de diseño gráfico y arquitectura acostumbraban hacer una feria donde exponían sus trabajos, yo siempre iba me encantaba ver sus trabajos, una vez quede enamorada de unos bolsos que hicieron con discos lp (long play).
Some time ago, I was studying at the university, the faculties of graphic design and architecture used to make a fair where they exhibited their work, I always went there and I loved to see their work, once I fell in love with some bags they made with LP records (long play).
No he vuelto a ver algo igual, entre tantas cosas de las que me gustan los bolsos no son la excepción jamás será suficiente cuando se trate de un diseño único y versátil 😂😂😂
I have never seen anything like it again, among so many things that I like bags are no exception, it will never be enough when it comes to a unique and versatile design 😂😂😂
Tenía en mente crear un bolso de mano utilizando Cd's, y hoy quiero compartir el paso a paso.
I had in mind to create a tote bag using Cd's, and today I want to share the step by step.
Pensaba comprar algunas telas, sin embargo revise en los retazos que guardo y encontré una tela bordada y otros retazos más que logré combinar.
I was planning to buy some fabrics, however I checked in the scraps I keep and found an embroidered fabric and some more scraps that I managed to combine.
Así que el 90% de los materiales fueron reutilizados ♻️

Paso a Paso/Step by Step
1- Coloque silicón sobre el Cd y pegué la tela, en este caso quería que la mariposa quedara centrada ya que sería la protagonista. Con la tijera recorte formando un círculo dejando una pestaña. La idea es forrar el Cd.
1- Place silicone on the Cd and glued the fabric, in this case I wanted the butterfly to be centered as it would be the protagonist. With the scissors I cut out a circle leaving a tab. The idea is to cover the CD.
2- Se aplica silicón del otro lado y se estira bien la pestaña para pegarla y que la tela quede estirada.
2- Apply silicone on the other side and stretch the tab well to glue it so that the fabric is stretched.
3- Corte dos trozos de tela en forma de círculo para pegarla y lograr un mejor acabado.
3- Cut two pieces of fabric in the shape of a circle to glue it and achieve a better finish.
4- Cortan una tira de tela, el ancho que se desee. En mi caso quería que fuese ancha, tome en cuenta que de cada extremo se perdería 1 centímetro para pegarlo en los cd's para poder cerrar.
4- Cut a strip of fabric, the desired width. In my case I wanted it to be wide, I took into account that from each end I would lose 1 centimeter to glue it to the cd's to be able to close it.
5- Centré el cierre, medi y con la tijera corté. Coloque un poco de Silicón en cada lado que corte y hice un doblez fino, para darle un mejor acabado.
5- I centered the zipper, measured and cut with the scissors. Put some silicone on each side I cut and made a thin fold to give it a better finish.
6- Coloqué silicón y pegue el cierre.
6- I placed silicone and glued the zipper.
7- Para hacer el cerramiento. Aplique silicón en un extremo de la tira de la tela y con mucha paciencia fui pegando en el borde de un Cd, esperé que se secara y luego hice lo mismo con el otro cd, para el segundo abrí el cierre para manipular mejor y lograr que quedara bien pegado.
7- To make the closure. I applied silicone on one end of the fabric strip and with a lot of patience I glued it on the edge of a CD, waited for it to dry and then I did the same with the other CD, for the second one I opened the zipper to better manipulate and make it stick well.
8- Con una cinta coloqué un sujetador en el cual coloque una cadenita y un unicornio que tenía guardado de otro proyecto anterior.
8- With a ribbon I placed a fastener in which I put a chain and a unicorn that I had saved from a previous project.
