¡Hola a todos! Desde siempre he sido amante de las hadas y de los hongos, por lo que a la hora de hacer decoraciones, me inclino por los temas naturales y encantados. Hoy les vengo a mostrar un arreglo bastante sencillo que le hice a una lámpara que tenía en casa en buen estado, pero completamente abandonada.
Hi all! I have always been a lover of fairies and mushrooms, so when making decorations, I lean towards natural and enchanted themes. Today I come to show you a fairly simple arrangement that I made to a lamp that I had at home in good condition, but completely abandoned.
Desde hace años tengo ésta lámpara en casa. Tenía una pantalla de plástico que con el tiempo se fue despedazando hasta caerse por completo. No sé de donde salió la lámpara pero si sé que no se le ha dado ningún uso. Lo primero que hice fue traerla hasta donde me encuentro, limpiarla e ir a comprar el bombillo, cosa que no fue nada fácil ya que la rosca es algo pequeña y las lámparas actuales ya no las usan. Por suerte lo pude conseguir, aunque algo costoso. Hice la inversión ya que deseaba poder darle uso a la lámpara y porque necesitaba más iluminación en mi habitación. Por suerte verifiqué que en efecto, funciona.
I have had this lamp at home for years. It had a plastic screen that over time fell apart completely. I do not know where the lamp came from but I do know that it has not been used. The first thing I did was bring it to where I am, clean it and go buy the light bulb, which was not easy at all since the thread is somewhat small and current lamps no longer use them. Luckily I was able to get it, although somewhat expensive. I made the investment because I wanted to be able to use the lamp and because I needed more lighting in my room. Luckily I verified that it does indeed work.
Lo único que necesitaba era hacerle la pantalla. Para ello utilicé la mitad de una cartulina escolar. Hice esta figura al ojo por cierto, o sea, sin mediciones:

Al cerrarla, obtendremos un cono con la parte de arriba descubierta (Para que la luz salga por arriba y abajo). Utilicé silicón caliente para pegar los bordes. De esta manera, tendremos la base del hongo.
When closing it, we will obtain a cone with the top part uncovered (so that the light comes out from above and below). I used hot silicone to glue the edges. In this way, we will have the base of the fungus.
Para hacer los lunares o manchas del hongo, utilice unas facturas viejas que tenía en la cartera. Como son algo que suelo obtener a diario y en cantidades, me gusta encontrarles uso en vez de botarlas. En la parte trasera, marqué varias circunferencias con un marcador y las recorté.
To make the moles or spots of the fungus, use some old bills that you had in your wallet. Since they are something that I usually get daily and in quantities, I like to find use for them instead of throwing them away. At the back, I marked various circumferences with a marker and cut them out.
Con pega blanca pegué todos los círculos en el cono de cartulina. Otra opción es pintarlos directamente con pintura blanca, aunque admito que de esta forma el resultado también luce decente, aparte de ser mucho más rápido.
With white glue I glued all the circles on the cardboard cone. Another option is to paint them directly with white paint, although I admit that this way the result also looks decent, apart from being much faster.
Para darle un poco de relieve y obtener un lindo efecto de absorción de luz, tomé algodón y lo fui pegando en la base con la pega blanca.
To give it a bit of relief and get a nice light-absorbing effect, I took cotton and glued it to the base with the white glue.
Coloqué la pantalla sobre la lámpara y ya está. Lista para dar a mi lugar de trabajo un toque místico y quién sabe, puede ser que atraiga algún hada cercana.
I placed the shade over the lamp and that's it. Ready to give my workplace a mystical touch and who knows, it might attract a nearby fairy.
