Hola esta es mi participación en el concurso, les muestro a mi querida comunidad de creativos como elabore un hermoso Sombrero de cartón, recordando hace algún tiempo cuando estaba en la escuela y realizamos uno para obsequiar para el día de las madres, este sombrero está recubierto con mecatillo y lo adorne con un dije de un búho, además de adornar su contorno con una cinta de piedras y un trozo de cadena de aluminio dorada.

Hello this is my participation in the contest, I show my dear community of creatives how I made a beautiful cardboard hat, remembering some time ago when I was in school and we made one to give away for Mother's Day, this hat is covered with a little cardboard and I decorated it with a charm of an owl, besides decorating its contour with a ribbon of stones and a piece of gold aluminum chain.

Paso a Paso Step by Step

Primer paso/First step

Para hacer el sombrero, realice dos círculos uno de 8 centímetros de diámetro y otro de 13,5 centímetros de diámetro, y una tira de cartón de 25 centímetros de largo x 3 centímetros de alto. Recorte todas las formas y al círculo de menor le dejé aproximadamente un centímetro para la pestaña.

To make the hat, make two circles, one 8 centimeters in diameter and the other 13.5 centimeters in diameter, and a strip of cardboard 25 centimeters long x 3 centimeters high.
I cut out all the shapes and left about one centimeter of the smaller circle for the flange.

Segundo paso Second step

Costrui el sombrero, uniendo con silicon la tira de cartón alrededor de todo el círculo de menor tamaño y ayudándome con la pestaña, a la cual le realice pequeños cortes para que doble sin arrugarse y luego pegue esa parte lista al otro círculo justo al centro.

I sewed the hat, joining with silicone the cardboard strip around the smaller circle and helping me with the tab,to which I made small cuts so that it folds without wrinkling, and then I glued that ready part to the other circle right in the center.

Tercer paso Second step

Con mi sombrero listo, comienzo a colocar el mecatillo, iniciando en el centro de la copa del sombrero, y enrollando , hasta cubrir completamente el sombrero.

With my hat ready, I begin to place the mecatillo, starting in the center of the hat crown, and rolling it up, until the hat is completely covered.

Cuarto paso Fourth step

Ya para finalizar fijo con silicon el dije de Búho en la parte superior del sombrero, y luego pegue la cinta de piedras comenzando justo donde termina el dije del búho y que terminará en el otro extremo, para colocar el trozo de cadena en el espacio entre las dos puntas de la cinta.

Finally, fix the owl charm on the top of the hat with silicone, and then glue the ribbon of stones starting just where the owl charm ends and ending at the other end, to place the piece of chain in the space between the two ends of the ribbon.

Resultado Result

Acá mi hermoso sombrero terminado, con un lindo y brillante búho y las piedras que le dan brillo y elegancia.
