I used youtube's auto-generated subtitles with translation, but I thought I'd weigh in on some things about the creatures you may not be familiar with/may not have been obvious from the announcement post.
Each of the 4 stats has its own rng roll from 0 to 100,000. Health will roll between 0-100,000, if it lands under 50,000, it means uncommon (green) rarity, under 75,000 means rare (blue), etc, with holo rarity being above 99,900 (0.1% chance).
This roll occurrs 4 times, so you can have a varying difference between each of the 4 stats, one creature can have 3 green stats and 1 holo for instance. The average is also calculated in a simple way, you take all 4 values and add them together and divide by 4, this reflects on the "level button" as to what the average is and this is required for a creature to receive the "holomax" skin hue if average stats are above holo (over 99,900 together).
Naturally this is not very likely, you have to roll over 99,999 (0.1%) 4 times in a row for a starter creature to be holo during the opening. I expect this not to happen at all unless someone is very lucky considering we'll only be selling 3800+ vials. But that's okay as this is planned this way, because when playing comes live, you'll have the opportunity to increase the rarity scores of creatures by battling them against opposing creature types. This means that for every level up if your creature has consistently battled types that counter it (for example fire vs water type), you'll increase your rarity score slightly. Meaning that a creature with a stat at epic/legendary could technically reach holo over 30-50 levels.
Lastly, radiant has its own skin chance at 3%, this one is not based off of stats at all and is just random, you can have a radiant creature with low rarity score or high. Same goes for card foils (8% gold and 2% diamond).
The general idea is that as a collector/player, you're going to want to have a collection of all starters in various foils/radiant/stats. For instance and I speak for myself here, it'd be amazing to have all 4 starters in diamond foil and holo stats at max level as that'd look quite amazing (something you'll be able to witness when you open them), or for instance having wrackoo which is green in full green stats and green type card for aesthetics. Collectors will needless to say have a lot to do if they're going for certain sets and we will definitely introduce different achievements for people holding certain aesthetic sets (like having one of all starters in gold/diamond foil/certain stats, etc) which would mean more zing rewards as long as they keep them in the inventory.
This also brings me to my next point. Alpha creatures will still have a low chance of existing in beta vials (potentially 10% chance vs 90% chance for beta creatures), their odds will be slightly lower for stat rarity (instead of 0-50,000 for green rarity it may be 0-55,000, etc) but more importantly they'll be in different card arts since they're coming from beta vials. This is because we don't wanna limit certain creatures ultimately to the amount of alpha vials we managed to sell when we were still starting out, but for collectors they may have a hard time finding alpha creatures inside alpha cards later on.
Which also brings some importance to the empty alpha capture cards which you can get 1-6 out of with similar odds (8% for gold and 2% for diamond), these will be scarce forever and never be minted again in this alpha design. Thus players should be very careful what kind of creatures they place in them when battling to try determine if the stats are "worth" capturing them within an alpha card or when they run into radiant creatures as to not waste too many alpha cards as they're very limited based off of alpha vials.
Gonna check the rest of the video now, lol.
Thank you very much for the clarifications, you answered many doubts that remained in my mind and that is why I was unable to convey them in the video. I will make these notes in the video on the 2nd when I open my Alpha Vial.
I picked up on your habit of putting the video on YouTube, so anyone in another language can watch it with the resource it offers, but ATTENTION, the fact that there is also a cat hovering over my videos was not an intention to copy, she is very well-rounded and likes to appear, haha.
Haha, it was quite cute, how old is she?
Mew likes to walk past my monitor table now and then as well for attention. xD
Looking forward to your opening vid! I have quite a few vials to open as well 😁
She's only 4 months old, I need to take her to be spayed soon.
Most of the time she's on my lap trying to climb onto the computer desk; sometimes I get scolded because she still doesn't understand that she can't bite the cables. And how old is yours?
