Once again I'm here to share with you a new artwork inspired by a Holozing creature, in this case it was the turn of the Egyptian-looking dog Xolo. The truth is that his design caught my attention and made me want to make a nice drawing using acrylic paints but well diluted, because being a very dark color was not going to be able to appreciate every detail, and in the end I think I achieved what I was looking for, so here I leave the whole process and I hope you like it!

Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog para todos!
Nuevamente me encuentro por acá para compartirles un nuevo trabajo artístico inspirado en alguna criatura de Holozing, en este caso le tocó el turno al perro de apariencia egipcia Xolo. La verdad que su diseño me llamó mucho la atención y me dieron ganas de realizar un lindo dibujo usando pinturas acrílicas pero bien diluidas, ya que al ser de un color muy oscuro no se iba a lograr apreciar bien cada detalle, y al final creo que se logró lo que buscaba, así que a continuación les dejo todo el proceso y espero les guste mucho!!
Process || Proceso
The first thing I did was to trace the original drawing on a sheet of cardboard, then with a graphite, already identified the guide lines, I began to mark the entire silhouette of our creature, to leave it ready for the next step.
Lo primero que hice fue calcar el dibujo original sobre una hoja de cartulina, luego con un grafito, ya identificado las líneas guías, empecé a marcar toda la silueta de nuestra criatura, para así dejarlo listo para el siguiente paso.
The next thing I will do will be to apply acrylic paint, and as I explained at the beginning, for this drawing combine the acrylic with a little water and you can better appreciate the details of the creature for its dark color, for the rest of the colors use different shades to give lights and shadows, as well as the beautiful details of the eyes and forehead that I think are characteristic for this character that resembles an Egyptian dog.
Lo siguiente que haré será aplicar pintura acrílica, y como les expliqué al principio, para esté dibujo combine el acrílico con un poco de agua y se pueda apreciar mejor los detalles de la criatura por su color oscuro, para el resto de colores use diferentes tonos para darle luces y sombras, así como los bonitos detalles de los ojos y la frente que creo son característico para este personaje que hace semejanza a un perro egipcio.
