Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing well. It's been 6 days since Inktober and the Holozing version and its 10 suggestions have only happened once, as of today, it's only my second day and I congratulate all those brave ones who day after day do not fail until they finish the challenge, all my respect to you. Today's word is "Pierce" when I looked up its meaning in Spanish and understood what it refers to, an old memory from one of my first jobs in the construction sector came to mind. I remember that one of the tasks for being a novice was destroying the floors with a drill, a real torture after a few hours. So from this memory came my idea of drawing Wrackoo doing the same job as me, so here I share my brief experience, I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que se encuentren muy bien, ya van 6 días del Inktober y la versión de Holozing y sus 10 sugerencias solo ha ocurrido una, para el día de hoy, apenas es mi segundo día y felicito a todos aquellos valientes que día tras día no fallan hasta terminar el reto, todos mis respetos para ustedes. La palabra de hoy es "Pierce" cuando busqué su significado en español y entendí a que se refiere, vino entonces a mi mente una antigua memoria de uno de mis primeros trabajos, en el sector construcción, recuerdo que una de las tareas por ser novato fue destruir los pisos con un taladro, una verdadera tortura pasada unas horas. Así que de este recuerdo surgió mi idea de dibujar a Wrackoo haciendo el mismo trabajo que yo, así que aquí les comparto mi breve experiencia, espero les guste.

As in my previous drawings, I use white cardboard, onto which I gradually add details for a simple sketch. I start with the face to form the head and the rest of the body, then I add what I consider necessary to create the scene of Wrackoo crossing the ground.
Como en mis anteriores dibujos utilizo una cartulina de color blanco, sobre la cual voy agregando poco a poco los detalles para un boceto simple. Comienzo desde el rostro para ir formando la cabeza y así el resto del cuerpo, luego voy agregando lo que considero necesario para hacer la escena de Wrackoo atravesando el suelo.

Yesterday, in my presentation, I explained that I use different types of markers, especially the ink and tip. The finest marker has a thicker ink color and a deeper black, so I use this marker to draw the first lines. It's as if I were using the lightest colored pencil.
El día de ayer en mi participación expliqué que utilizo diferentes tipos de marcador, especialmente la tinta y la punta, el más fino tiene la tinta de un color mas espeso y un negro más intenso, entonces con este marcador hago las primeras líneas. Es como si utilizara el lápiz de color más claro.

So I continued painting every detail, including the worker's helmet on the face, the gloves, and the drill that drills into the ground. One thing I did was make Wrackoo's annoyed face; I thought it was funny.
Así continúo pintando cada detalle, en el rostro por ejemplo el casco de trabajador, así también los guantes y el taladro que perfora el suelo. Algo que hice fue poner cara de molestia de a Wrackoo, se me hizo divertido.

Then, with the medium marker, I accentuate the lines along the edges. It seems like double work, but it isn't. I do it this way because I like the drawing to have different types of lines. It's like creating a contrast even when using the same color, in this case, black.
Luego con el marcador mediano le voy acentuando las líneas de los bordes, parece un doble trabajo pero no lo es, lo hago así porque me gusta que el dibujo tenga líneas de difernete tipo. Es como hacer un contraste aún cuando se utilice un mismo color, en este caso el color negro.

To finish, I'm adding shading to the entire drawing, except for the worker's uniform. As for the drill, I made many strokes to give the effect of forcing it through the ground, where stones and dust are thrown out. That's how my drawing was finished.
Para finalizar voy agregando el sombreado a todo el dibujo con excepción del uniforme de trabajador. En cuando a la perforadora le hice muchos trazos para el efecto de atravesar el suelo con fuerza, donde las piedras y el polvo salen disparados. Así quedó finalizado mi dibujo.
What did you think of the ending? It's not very pleasant, drilling holes in the ground, haha. Honestly, today's word of the day gave me a lot of ideas, but as I said before, I associated it with a moment in my life, and here are the results. ¿Qué les ha parecido el final? no esta nada contento, haciendo perforaciones en el suelo jejeje. La verdad que la palabra del día de hoy me dio muchas idea,s pero como dije antes, la asocié a un momento de mi vida y aquí estan los resultados.
