La troncal 10 es la carretera panorámica por excelencia de Venezuela, su recorrido de mayor vistosidad comienza en la población de Las Claritas (Kilometro 88) ya que es desde ese punto cuando comienza el ascenso de aproximadamente mil metros en poco más 50 kilómetros, y por donde se pueden observar bosques nublados, grandes formaciones rocosas y luego una enorme sabana que domina el horizonte, siempre atravesada por pequeños y medianos riachuelos que esconden inmensas cascadas y piscinas naturales que se caracterizan por sus heladas y azules aguas, a este bello paisaje se le suma un cielo que parece estar al alcance de la mano, con grandes nubes que parecen enormes motas de algodón que brindan un momento especial que acobija a todas las personas que atraviesan esa imponente ruta.
