Splinterlands Battle Report featuring DAX PARAGON - A Win!

in Blockchain Gaminglast year (edited)

Hi, glad that Friday is here. This weekend would be a great time to cool off the stress of the week. Already, I carved out some time to play Splinterlands game and participate in this week's edition of share your battle challenge.

The character for this week - DAX PARAGON looks so innocent and harmless but it bears the magic element and that makes it an exceptional character for me. Let's know more about DAX PARAGON.

Edition: CHAOS LEGION
Rarity: EPIC
Element: LIFE
Attack: MAGIC
Abilities: Amplify

This life card with the magic element is rated 3 health, 1 magic attack, 2 speed with no armor. The card has manna rating of 2. This makes it very fitting for many battles as one can always create a 2 manna space to accommodate it. The level 1 version of the card has no special ability but the amplify and affliction abilities are added from level 2 and 5 respectively. Not minding its low manna, the card is rated 100 power.

I tried out a number of battles with the card. I lost some and won some, but my best battle so far is the one reported in this post. This is because the theme card was still alive to the end of the battle.

This battle was against a user that also used the same summoner as mine that adds +1 range attack to all friendly monsters.

My line up for the Battle & Strategy

Anyone missing out of the great monster arrangement in splinterlands battles misses out all together.

Summoner: General Sloan
First Monster Unit: Luminous Eagle
Second Monster Unit: Dax paragon
Third Monster Unit: Pelacor Arbalest
Fourth Monster Unit: Celestial Harpy

All of my cars were life cards.

The comfort of placing Dax paragon in the second row of the battle is because it is a magic card that can attack from the second line. There are not much melee attack playable cards willing to battle alongside General Sloan as Summoner. I love to have a melee attack monster lead my battles.

My choice for Pelacor Arbalest to be on the third position is that it is a double attack card wit range ranged attack.

Both teams had good turns of attack with succinct display of weapons. Dax Paragon was actively involved in the battle and about 4 strikes during the 4 rounds of the battle. There was no single miss as all targets were well hit.

My team succeeded in bringing down all 5 enemy monsters while my team still had 3 monsters alive at the end of the battle.

Amazingly, the last shot that brought the win for my team was shot by DAX PARAGON.

This battle earned me 19 rating points and scaled my team to Bronze League III.

Like I said earlier, this is my best battle involving Dax paragon. The magic attack monster did justice to the enemy monsters by destroying their lives each shot which never missed its target.

For me, the strategy I used for this battle is the best combination for this battle. I will always use the strategy again as it assures for a win. DAX PARGON is sill effective at 2nd positioned.

I'm looking forward to a character update that may spice up the character's speed. I'll try placing Dax paragon at the first and last position of the battle to see how that would influence the performance.

Bravo to my team for such a wonderful win!

Hey @kingswill, As I can see you are participating on splinterlands challenges from long time and you are getting good support for that. So why don't you upgrade your deck ? why are you still still level 1 card battle? I would suggest you to spend some money on your deck, it's not that much costly. If you keep using level 1 card to participate challenges, then it will looks like you are here to reward farming. So be aware of this, best of luck.

Thank you very much. I'll be upgrading forthwith. I've been learning through the process and been buying level 1 cards. I'll start levelling up.

Thanks for sharing! - @lenonmc21

It was a good battle, but, I'm sure you can do much better and put in more effort, plus, it would be ideal if you were slowly building your deck of cards.

Thank you very much for the curation. I'm building gradually. I had a diversion into investing in GLX.
