La idea de cuidar de nuestro planeta tierra surge desde hace muchos años, pero a medida que avanzamos cada vez es más grande la contaminación que existe en nuestro medio ambiente, desde la primaria siempre me enseñaron lo que era el medio ambiente y me lo resumieron de una manera muy sencilla para que no se me pudiera olvidar y hoy día lo recuerdo claramente, el medio ambiente es todo lo que nos rodea, las plantas, montañas, ríos, animales, personas, lagos, lagunas, todo esto es parte de nuestro planeta tierra. Siempre me enseñaron como cuidar el medio ambiente, la importancia que éste tiene para la vida y más aún las consecuencias de la contaminación de nuestro ambiente.
The idea of taking care of our planet earth has been around for many years, but as we move forward the pollution that exists in our environment is getting bigger and bigger, since elementary school I was always taught what the environment was and they summarized it in a very simple way so that I could not forget it and today I remember it clearly, the environment is everything that surrounds us, plants, mountains, rivers, animals, people, lakes, lagoons, all of this is part of our planet earth. I was always taught how to take care of the environment, the importance it has for life and even more the consequences of the contamination of our environment.
Hoy día cuando camino por las calles y miro a mi alrededor observo la gran cantidad de basura y desperdicios que hay en el ambiente, y pareciera mentira pero muchas veces nosotros colaboramos con ella, a medida que pasa el tiempo pareciera que la idea de cuidar del ambiente fuera algo no importante para la humanidad, debemos recordar que nuestra vida y nuestro bienestar depende de nuestro medio ambiente, si nuestros ambiente está sano pues nosotros también lo estaremos, la contaminación del planeta tierra produces muchas enfermedades, que afectan principalmente a los más pequeños.
Today when I walk through the streets and look around me I observe the large amount of garbage and waste that is in the environment, and it seems untrue but often we often collaborate with it, as time passes it seems that the idea of caring for the environment is not something important for humanity, we must remember that our life and our welfare depends on our environment, if our environment is healthy then we will also be healthy, the pollution of planet earth produces many diseases, which mainly affect the smallest.

Cuando yo era niña recuerdo que mi papá regaba todos los días las plantas, pero algunas veces se pasaba de la raya ya que dejaba la manguera toda la noche en el patio desperdiciando el agua, quizás usted pensará que no todas las cosas del ambiente se deben cuidar o a lo mejor le dará más importancias a algunas que a otras, pero yo opino que todo lo que está dentro del planeta tierra es muy importante para nosotros, hace unos días atrás hice una publicación acerca de concientizar a nuestros hijos a cuidar del medio ambiente, y esto es una de las tantas cosas que debemos hacer, CONCIENTIZAR a todas las personas que debemos mantener un ambiente limpio, sano y sobretodo agradable para todos nosotros.
When I was a child I remember that my dad watered the plants every day, but sometimes he went too far because he left the hose all night in the yard wasting water, maybe you think that not all things in the environment should be taken care of or maybe you will give more importance to some than others, but I think that everything in the planet earth is very important for us, a few days ago I made a publication about raising awareness among our children to take care of the environment, but I think that everything that is inside the planet earth is very important for us, a few days ago I made a publication about making our children aware of how to take care of the environment, and this is one of the many things we must do, AWARE all people that we must maintain a clean, healthy and above all pleasant environment for all of us.
Algunas medidas que debemos tomar para ayudar a reducir el riesgo de contaminación en nuestro planeta serían:
- Colocar la basura en su sitio, si vamos en carro propio a cualquier sitio debemos tener una bolsa personal para echar los desperdicios de cualquier tipo.
- Ahorrar el agua, este vital líquido no lo podemos desperdiciar de ninguna manera.
- Una cosa que yo no sabía y que aprendí en la escuela fue separar la basura, plástico con plástico, cartón con cartón, vidrio con vidrio y así sucesivamente, esto con la finalidad de que como son material reciclables pues se hace más fácil a la hora de usarlos.
- Enseñemos a nuestros hijos sembrar plantas y expliquemosle la importancia de éstos para el medio ambiente.
- Pongamos en práctica las 3 R, RECICLAR, REUTILIZAR, REDUCIR.
- Evitemos de alguna manera la tala y la quema.
Cuidar del medio ambiente es tarea de todos.
Some measures we should take to help reduce the risk of pollution on our planet would be:
- Place the garbage in its place, if we go in our own car to any place we should have a personal bag to throw the waste of any kind.
- Save water, this vital liquid cannot be wasted in any way.
- One thing that I did not know and that I learned in school was to separate the garbage, plastic with plastic, cardboard with cardboard, glass with glass and so on, this with the purpose that as they are recyclable materials it becomes easier when it comes to use them.
- Let's teach our children to plant plants and explain to them the importance of these for the environment.
- Let's put into practice the 3 R's, RECYCLE, REUSE, REDUCE.
- Let's avoid in some way slash and burn.
Caring for the environment is everyone's job.

Por supuesto que sí me gustaría cosechar mis propios alimentos, aunque vivo en apartamento y no tengo un patio ni tampoco un jardín para poder sembrar, pues, esto no fue impedimento para mí, así que tomé uno de los tobos que utilizamos en casa para agarrar agua ya que éste estaba roto y no había manera de pegarlo, pues yo lo recuperé, lo piqué a la mitad, lo llené de tierra negra y comencé sembrando unas maticas de ajie dulce, gracias a Dios con el tiempo empezó a dar sus frutos, también tengo una aloe vera que sirve para remedios caseros y también una de óregano que apenas está creciendo.
