Sinopsis
María José Canterberry es una joven de 16 años de edad, Majo, como le gustaba que le llamaran de cariño, con un cabello rubio y rizado en las puntas, delgada, de altura baja y con unos ojos grandes de color claro, tímida, de corazón puro y muy acomedida a las tareas del hogar, junto a su madre hacían las labores domesticas, tenía una gran pasión por la música, la escritura y la lectura, Majo es una joven muy sobresaliente en su escuela, tenía notas extraordinarias, su clase favorita era la de arte y literatura, que impartía la señorita Dolores de la Grana, una mujer estricta y, a la vez, delicada y tierna con sus alumnos, vivía en una ciudad al norte de inglaterra, lugar donde se inicia esta historia.
Una tarde, saliendo de clase, Majo se dirigió a su casa, y se topó con la sorpresa que el cuarto de huéspedes estaba habitado.
Extrañada, la muchacha le preguntó a su hermano Danny, un joven de 23 años, cabello castaño, delgado, ligeramente musculoso con unos hermosos ojos claros y, a diferencia de ella, bastante alto, su mayor talento era la escritura, tanta era su destreza, le había escrito un discurso al alcalde de la ciudad, motivo por el cual, la familia Canterberry era una de las mejores posicionadas socialmente en esta.
-Danny, hermano mío, ¿sabes quién ha ocupado la habitación de los huéspedes?- preguntó Majo con aquella dulce voz que la caracterizaba.
-Sí, lo sé-respondió Danny-. Nuestros padres se la han rentado a Doña Seidy de Aragon y su hijo Mauro, que han decidido mudarse a Inglaterra luego del fallecimiento de Don Pedro de Arimatea-Y sin más que agregar, terminó la conversación
Majo se dirigió a su habitación, pensativa, pues, por primera vez había gente extraña en su casa.
Llegada la hora de la cena, Doña Jocelyne, quien era la madre de los hermanos Canterberry, una mujer bastante joven y guapa, llamó a todos para que bajaran a cenar, fue en ese momento, en la mesa del comedor, cuando Majo conoció a Mauro.
La rubia quedó deslumbrada por el brillo en los ojos del joven, puesto que empezaba a sentir atracción por los muchachos, eran bastante peculiares, porque podían verse cafés pero otras veces, verdes, al percatarse de que lo miraba fijamente, sintió sus mejillas arder y bajó la mirada, sin embargo antes de que eso sucediera, se percató que el muchacho tenía un cabello castaño que le caía por la frente casi tapándole los ojos, y tenía una peculiar barbilla, la cual se encontraba partida, respecto a su altura, aún no podía determinarla pero, quizá no era ni tan alto, ni tan bajo, más bien de mediana estatura.
Synopsis

The blonde was dazzled by the brightness in the young man's eyes, since she was beginning to feel attraction for boys, they were quite peculiar, because they could look brown but other times, green, when she noticed that he was staring at him, she felt her cheeks burn and lowered her gaze, however before that happened, she noticed that the boy had brown hair that fell over his forehead almost covering his eyes, and he had a peculiar chin, which was split, regarding his height, she still could not determine it but, perhaps he was neither so tall nor so short, rather of medium height.
