– ¿Qué dirán de mí, si vistes con esas prendas vulgares?
– Sólo quería lucir hermosa para ti, imaginé que te gustaría.
– ¿¡Cómo podría gustarme esas prendas!? Yo ando con una dama, no con una cualquiera. Si quisiera una mujer vulgar, ya estaría con una ¡Créeme!
– Ya me cambiaré Rodrigo, lo siento. Tienes razón, debo vestir como dama.
– Cámbiate rápido que no tenemos mucho tiempo. Llegaremos tarde otra vez por tu culpa, Ana.
– No me tardo.
– Pff. Vociferó Rodrigo, muy irritado.
Ana se quitaba su blusa de tiras finas que dejaba ver sus delicados hombros y las curvas de sus pechos, con lágrimas en sus ojos.
Se sentía avergonzada pero también muy desanimada y herida, ella realmente quería lucir esa blusa que había comprado el día anterior. Pero sería otra prenda más para su closet, de las que no podría tan si quiera pensar en usar.
Mientras Ana buscaba una blusa más cubierta, digna de una dama, Rodrigo esperaba impaciente en la puerta de la casa.
Caminaba de un lado a otro viendo su costoso reloj, entraba a la habitación para apresurar a su mujer y asegurarse de que vistiera adecuadamente.
Cuando Ana por fin estuvo lista, una mirada aprobatoria de su esposo le hizo sentir que ya se encontraba vestida de manera correcta.

Aunque su deseo era que Rodrigo la aprobara y la hiciera sentir digna de él, dentro de sí, tenía el pecho comprimido y vacío.
Ana había notado que ya no se sentía igual, que ahora se sentía insegura de su apariencia.
Pero en el camino, se adaptó a lo que ya tenía puesto y consiguió sentirse cómoda por amor a su esposo.
Cuando entraron a la recepción, Ana le dio su abrigo a Rodrigo, éste se lo dio al mesero de aquel prestigioso restaurante, quien también les señaló la mesa reservada.
Rodrigo caminó hacía la mesa dejando a Ana atrás, pues era evidente su enojo ya que sus compañeros de trabajo y sus esposas, estaban esperando desde hace media hora por ellos.

Todos se saludaron de manera afectuosa, era evidente los años de amistad debido al trabajo.
– ¡Que bella luces Sofía! Ese color de cabello te queda de maravilla.
– ¡Gracias Rodrigo! He ido al salón justamente hoy, Fernando me ha llevado temprano y pude estar lista a tiempo. – ¡Ana querida! También luces fantástica con ese color de cabello, ¿A qué salón has ido?
– ¡Gracias! Contestó un poco ruborizada Ana. – No he podido ir a ningún salón, Sofía. Apenas si me ha dado chance de pintármelo en casa.
– Bueno, no hablemos de eso, Ana odia ir a los salones de belleza y en todos estos años no he podido convencerla para que lo haga. Contestó Rodrigo con tono de molestia.
Ana prefería no ir a salones de belleza, las primeras veces que lo intentó, siempre recibía desaprobación de Rodrigo. Siempre había algo que no le gustaba y le echaba en cara el dinero que le hacía gastar en vano.
– ¡Que hermosa se ve Fátima, Antonio! ¿Cómo haces para que tu mujer luzca así?, ¡Vaya! A Ana tengo que decirle qué debe vestir porque por cuenta propia, hasta un payaso de circo se vería mejor.
Todos rieron en aquella mesa, pues Rodrigo era el gracioso del grupo, aunque tuviera que humillar a su mujer para hacerlos reír. Incluso Ana había sonreído un poco, con sus mejillas sonrojadas y su corazón roto.

Fátima tenía una blusa con un descote bien acentuado, para Ana era demasiado evidente cómo Rodrigo halagaba no sólo a Sofía y a Fátima, sino también a cuánta mujer se topara por el frente.
Aunque lucieran prendas descotadas y extravagantes, él no dudaba en halagarlas.
En cambio para Ana, solo habían quejas y desaprobaciones. Lo que la hacía dudar y sentirse tan insegura de sí misma.
La noche en aquel restaurante fue muy larga para Ana. Pero finalmente había llegado la hora de ir a casa.
Estando en el dormitorio, Rodrigo no paraba de quejarse de Ana, la comparaba con aquellas mujeres, le decía lo cansado que estaba de tener que decirle todo lo que debía hacer y cómo vestir.
Lamentaba no tener la suerte de Fernando ni Antonio, ellos sí que tenían a unas hermosas Damas como mujeres a quiénes presumir.

Ana colocándose su pijama, se acostó de espaldas a Rodrigo, con lágrimas en sus ojos.
Pero Rodrigo quería intimidad con ella, así que la buscó y Ana callada lo complació.
Rodrigo al terminar, se dio la vuelta y comenzó rápidamente a roncar, mientras Ana aún despierta; no dejaba de derramar sus lágrimas, mojando sus mejillas y almohada.
En silencio, Ana agradecía la poca luz de la noche que entraba por las ventanas de la habitación, ya que había impedido que Rodrigo notara verla mientras tenían sexo.
Ana sabía lo enfadado que Rodrigo se ponía cuando la veía llorar. Así que entre bajos sollozos y lágrimas que se secaban en sus mejillas, se había quedado finalmente dormida.

– ¿¡Que vestido es ese, Ana!? ¡Por Dios!, Y mira esos labios ¡Te los has pintado de rojo!, bien sabes que no me gusta que te pintes así. Ese cabello corto muestra toda tu espalda que ni el vestido puede cubrir, ¿¡A caso no te dije que no cortaras tu cabello!?. ¡¡¡Te desconozco, Ana!!! Ve ahora mismo a cambiarte. ¡Vístete como una dama!
– ¡No!
– ¿¡Qué has dicho!?
– No lo haré, Rodrigo.
Rodrigo atónito frente a Ana, no podía creer lo que estaba escuchando, era un rotundo ¡No! Lo que Ana, le acababa de decir y sin la más mínima vergüenza.
Cuando Rodrigo estaba a punto de volver hablar, Ana caminó hacía él con su mirada fija en sus ojos.
– Está vez, saldré sin ti. Iré con mis amigas, porque sí tengo amigas, Rodrigo. Iré con ellas y celebraremos este día.
– ¿¡Acaso estás loca mujer!?, ¿Me has visto cara de imbécil?. Si cruzas esa puerta vestida así, espero no regreses más. Y ruega te pueda perdonar ese corte de cabello porque te juro no saldrás más hasta que vuelva a crecer.
– No te preocupes Rodrigo. ¡Por favor! Esto no volverá a pasar.
– Ni que te hinques de rodillas te perdonaré esto. ¿Quién te crees? ¡Por su puesto que no volverá a pasar.
– No será necesario, sólo debes firmar. Porque te juro, no volverá a pasar.
Ana soltó el sobre que tenía en sus manos sobre la mesa de vidrio que estaba justo a su lado, caminó hacía la puerta de la casa y salió de ahí como una ave enjaulada, siendo libre después de muchos años de estar encerrada.
Ana por fin usaba lo que ella quería, decía y hacía lo que ella deseaba, sus manos eran como alas y su sonrisa tenía un brillo que deslumbraba a todo aquel que la veía.
Ana se veía sexy y elegante. No necesitaba aprobación para vestir más que la de ella misma y aún así, Ana vestía y se sentía como una dama, porque nunca lo había dejado de ser.

– What will they say about me, if you wear those vulgar clothes?
– I just wanted to look beautiful for you, I imagined you would like it.
– How could I like those clothes?!? I'm with a lady, not a common one. If I wanted a vulgar woman, I'd already be with one, believe me!
– I'll change Rodrigo, I'm sorry. You're right, I must dress like a lady.
– Change quickly, we don't have much time. We'll be late again because of you, Ana.
– I'm not late.
– Pff. Rodrigo shouted, very irritated.
Ana was taking off her thin strappy blouse that revealed her delicate shoulders and the curves of her breasts, with tears in her eyes.
She felt ashamed but also very discouraged and hurt, she really wanted to wear that blouse she had bought the day before. But it would be just another item for her closet, the kind she could not even think of wearing.
While Ana was looking for a more covered blouse, worthy of a lady, Rodrigo waited impatiently at the door of the house.
He paced back and forth, looking at his expensive watch, entering the room to hurry his wife and make sure she was properly dressed.
When Ana was finally ready, an approving glance from her husband made her feel that she was already properly dressed.

Although her wish was that Rodrigo would approve of her and make her feel worthy of him, inside, her chest was compressed and empty.
Ana had noticed that she no longer felt the same, that she now felt insecure about her appearance.
But along the way, she adapted to what she was already wearing and managed to feel comfortable out of love for her husband.
When they entered the reception, Ana gave her coat to Rodrigo, who gave it to the waiter of that prestigious restaurant, who also pointed out the reserved table.
Rodrigo walked towards the table leaving Ana behind, as it was evident that he was angry because his coworkers and their wives had been waiting for them for half an hour.

They all greeted each other warmly, it was evident the years of friendship due to work.
– How beautiful you look Sofia! That hair color suits you wonderfully.
– Thank you Rodrigo! I went to the salon just today, Fernando took me early and I was able to be ready on time. - Ana dear! You also look fantastic with that hair color, what salon did you go to?
– Thank you! Ana replied a little blushing. - I haven't been able to go to any salon, Sofia. I've barely had a chance to paint my hair at home.
– Well, let's not talk about that, Ana hates going to beauty salons and in all these years I haven't been able to convince her to do it. Rodrigo replied with an annoyed tone.
Ana preferred not to go to beauty salons, the first few times she tried, she always received disapproval from Rodrigo. There was always something he didn't like and he would throw in her face the money she made him spend in vain.
– How beautiful Fatima looks, Antonio! How do you make your wife look like that? Wow! I have to tell Ana what she should wear because on her own, even a circus clown would look better.
Everyone laughed at that table, for Rodrigo was the funny one of the group, even if he had to humiliate his wife to make them laugh. Even Ana had smiled a little, her cheeks flushed and her heart broken.

Fatima had a blouse with a very accentuated cleavage, it was all too evident to Ana how Rodrigo flattered not only Sofia and Fatima, but also every woman he met in front of them.
Even if they wore low-cut and extravagant clothes, he did not hesitate to flatter them.
For Ana, on the other hand, there were only complaints and disapprovals. Which made her doubt and feel so unsure of herself.
The night in that restaurant was very long for Ana. But finally it was time to go home.
In the bedroom, Rodrigo kept complaining about Ana, comparing her to those women, telling her how tired he was of having to tell her everything she should do and how to dress.
He regretted not having the luck of Fernando or Antonio, they did have beautiful ladies to show off to.

Ana put on her pajamas and lay down with her back to Rodrigo, tears in her eyes.
But Rodrigo wanted intimacy with her, so he sought her out and Ana quietly obliged.
Rodrigo rolled over when he finished, and quickly began to snore, while Ana, still awake, kept shedding her tears, wetting her cheeks and pillow.
Silently, Ana was grateful for the little night light coming through the bedroom windows, as it had prevented Rodrigo from noticing her while they were having sex.
Ana knew how angry Rodrigo would get when he saw her cry. So between low sobs and tears drying on her cheeks, she had finally fallen asleep.

– What dress is that, Ana, for God's sake! And look at those lips! You've painted them red! You know I don't like it when you paint yourself like that. That short hair shows all your back that even the dress can't cover. Didn't I tell you not to cut your hair? I don't know you, Ana! Go and change right now. Dress like a lady!
– No, I don't!
– What did you say?!?
– I won't do it, Rodrigo.
Rodrigo, stunned in front of Ana, could not believe what he was hearing, it was a resounding No! What Ana had just told him and without the slightest embarrassment.
When Rodrigo was about to speak again, Ana walked towards him with her gaze fixed on his eyes.
– This time, I will go out without you. I will go with my friends, because I do have friends, Rodrigo. I will go with them and we will celebrate this day.
– Are you crazy, woman? Have you seen my stupid face? If you walk through that door dressed like that, I hope you never come back. And pray I can forgive you for that haircut because I swear you won't go out again until it grows back.
– Don't worry Rodrigo. Please! This won't happen again.
– Not even if you kneel on your knees will I forgive this. Who do you think you are? Of course it won't happen again.
– That won't be necessary, you just have to sign. Because I swear, it won't happen again.
Ana dropped the envelope she had in her hands on the glass table right next to her, walked towards the door of the house and left like a caged bird, being free after many years of being locked up.
Ana finally wore what she wanted, said and did what she wanted, her hands were like wings and her smile had a glow that dazzled everyone who saw her.
Ana looked sexy and elegant. She didn't need approval to dress other than herself and yet, Ana dressed and felt like a lady, because she had never stopped being one.

La historia de Ana revive una triste realidad de muchas mujeres capaces de sacrificarse a sí mismas, con tal de encontrar el amor. Pero lo cierto es que la mujer está hecha de glamour y belleza y quién no valora eso, sencillamente desprecia la más hermosa de todas las atenciones, la de una flor que solo desea ser amada y contemplada de verdad 🙂

Así es amigo, muchas en alguna parte de nuestra vida sacrificamos cosas hasta de sí mismas por amor. Lo importante es siempre sentirnos como lo que somos y que nadie apague nuestra luz ni cambie nuestra escencia. Ana logró ser libre, pero hay quienes se marchitan y mueren y eso es muy triste.
La mujer es una flor que debe ser regada todos los días, así sea por ella misma. Saludos @cajiro gracias por pasar por aquí. Lo aprecio 🤗🐝
Excelente exposición de este relato @rakel1406 me encantó, es triste la historia de Ana al principio, sentirse desvalorizada, humillada y usada, pero lo más importante es que reaccionó y se posicionó en el lugar que ella se merecía, ser libre.

Rodrigo comete un gran error al comparar a Ana con otras damas, eso no es nada bueno, me gusta mucho que, al final, Ana pueda hablarle tan vibrante y pueda usar el vestido que le gusta.
Rodrigo la humilla delante de sus amigos, eso es tan malo, que Ana merece que la molesten hasta cierto punto.
Su personaje haría que Rodrigo se sentara y razonara cómo tratar a una mujer.
Eso es lo que más me encantó de redactar el final de la historia, ese radical y decisivo cambio de Ana por su libertad, esa forma en que se las juega por huir de ahí.
Hay tantas cosas que Rodrigo cometió con Ana, que era urgente escuchar un ¡No! Rotundo de ella, para todas esas bajezas. De seguro que sí hizo que Rodrigo razonara en todo lo que había hecho, ahí, solo en aquella casa y con un papel de divorcio en sus manos.

Que bueno que Ana pudo ser libre y sentirse feliz y no darles explicaciones a nadie de como viste porque ella siempre ser una dama. Saludos 😊
El machismo de algunos hombres puede ser destructor, pero va de parte de uno la mujer liberarse o atarse más a ello. Cosas así, vivimos ambos géneros, pero para nadie es un secreto que las mujeres han sido más vulnerables a este tipo de casos.
