Sebastián era un joven cocodrilo que estaba ansioso por crecer rápidamente, siempre estaba pensando en todas las cosas que iba a hacer cuando llegara a la madurez, constantemente se imaginaba una vida con hijos, esposa, un hogar e incluso una jubilación, Sebastián era un cocodrilo muy creativo y se la pasaba soñando con ser un cocodrilo adulto.

Un día Sebastián tomó la decisión de dejar de hacer cosas de niños, pensó que tal vez era conveniente dejar de jugar con sus compañeros porque eso aceleraría su proceso de madurez, también dejó de salir con sus compañeros y se dedicó a escuchar las conversaciones de los adultos para madurar rápidamente, así pasaron muchos meses en los que Sebastián creyó que estaba trabajando en su madurez.
Un día, al salir del colegio, a uno de sus compañeros se le cayó un cuaderno a la alcantarilla y Sebastián, creyéndose un cocodrilo adulto, dijo que él lo buscaría porque era el más capaz, ya que había alcanzado la madurez y que por la seguridad de todos los cocodrilos debían alejarse de las alcantarillas.
One day Sebastian made the decision to stop doing childish things, he thought that maybe it was convenient to stop playing with his classmates because that would accelerate his maturity process, he also stopped going out with his classmates and dedicated himself to listen to the conversations of adults to mature quickly, so many months passed in which Sebastian believed he was working on his maturity.
One day, when leaving school, one of his classmates dropped a notebook in the sewer and Sebastian, believing himself to be an adult crocodile, said that he would look for it because he was the most capable, since he had reached maturity and that for the safety of all crocodiles they should stay away from the sewers.

Sebastián sacó la parrilla, utilizando toda su fuerza, entro a la alcantarilla y recogió el cuaderno de su compañero, pero cuando fue a salir olvidó que las alcantarillas son resbaladizas y accidentalmente se cayó y se lastimó gravemente la pata, con esa lesión era imposible que Sebastián saliera de la alcantarilla, por lo que tuvieron que llamar a los bomberos para que lo rescataran.
Ese día se hizo todo un escándalo nacional, las redes sociales y noticieros hablaban del cocodrilo que había caído en la alcantarilla, muchos comentaristas pedían más seguridad con el sistema de alcantarillado, mientras otros criticaban y jugaban la mala educación que le habían dado sus padres.
Sebastián se había metido en tremendo problema y había puesto a su familia en boca de todo el mundo por una mala decisión que había tomado, ese día fue llevado al hospital donde llamaron a sus padres, ellos estaban muy asustados y preocupados por la salud de su hijo y Sebastián estaba muy avergonzado por lo que había pasado, en el fondo de su corazón sabía que había sido un cocodrilo inmaduro por haber puesto su vida en peligro, incluso más inmaduro que sus compañeros, ya que ellos habían pensado en llamar a un adulto para resolver el problema, fue Sebastián el que insistió en resolverlo el mismo.
Sebastian took out the grill, using all his strength, entered the sewer and picked up his partner's notebook, but when he went to get out he forgot that the sewers are slippery and accidentally fell and seriously hurt his paw, with that injury it was impossible for Sebastian to get out of the sewer, so they had to call the firefighters to rescue him.
That day became a national scandal, the social networks and newscasts talked about the crocodile that had fallen into the sewer, many commentators asked for more security with the sewer system, while others criticized and played the bad education that his parents had given him.
Sebastian had gotten himself into tremendous trouble and had put his family on everyone's lips for a bad decision he had made, that day he was taken to the hospital where his parents were called, they were very scared and worried about their son's health and Sebastian was very embarrassed about what had happened, deep in his heart he knew he had been an immature crocodile for having put his life in danger, even more immature than his companions, since they had thought of calling an adult to solve the problem, it was Sebastian who insisted on solving it himself.

Más tarde toda la familia llegó a casa y Sebastián tuvo que descansar durante quince días, el padre aprovechó todo el escándalo para hablar con su hijo y le explicó que la madurez no es una cuestión de edad o tamaño, tampoco es una etapa que se acelera o atrasa, la madurez de un cocodrilo se mide en su capacidad para discernir y tomar buenas decisiones en el camino de la vida.
El padre también le explicó a Sebastián que cada etapa del desarrollo debe ser vivida al máximo, si eres un niño compórtate como tal, disfruta tu etapa, vívela, no trates de acelerar o retrasar tu proceso de madurez y, si eres un adulto debes comportarte como adulto asumiendo las responsabilidades y el trabajo, y si eres un anciano debes manejar tu madurez con orgullo, gratitud y responsabilidad, además una de las claves más importantes para ser feliz en la vida es aceptar y aprovechar las etapas de madurez que estamos viviendo.
Desde ese día Sebastián reflexionó profundamente sobre el tema de la madurez y se decidió en vivir un día a la vez, aprovechando la etapa que estaba viviendo, como era un niño, iba a disfrutar de su vida como niño, después como adulto sabía que le tocaría trabajar y cuando llegara la vejez disfrutaría de esta etapa con el mismo amor e intensidad.
Later the whole family came home and Sebastian had to rest for fifteen days, the father took advantage of all the fuss to talk to his son and explained that maturity is not a matter of age or size, nor is it a stage that is accelerated or delayed, the maturity of a crocodile is measured in its ability to discern and make good decisions on the road of life.
The father also explained to Sebastian that each stage of development should be lived to the fullest, if you are a child behave as a child, enjoy your stage, live it, do not try to accelerate or delay your maturity process and, if you are an adult you should behave as an adult assuming responsibilities and work, and if you are an elder you should handle your maturity with pride, gratitude and responsibility, also one of the most important keys to be happy in life is to accept and take advantage of the stages of maturity that we are living.
Since that day Sebastian reflected deeply on the subject of maturity and decided to live one day at a time, taking advantage of the stage he was living, as he was a child, he was going to enjoy his life as a child, then as an adult he knew he would have to work and when old age came he would enjoy this stage with the same love and intensity.
