Ordered A Carabao Poop Online

in indoorGarden3 years ago

Looks like the pandemic have a great effect on my family that even a carabao poop has to be ordered online. It's kind of weird and funny seeing a carabao's poop being sold online. At least nothing's wasted because people can even make money with the poo of the moo. Lol. I just hope the sellers are not forcing the farm animals to defecate more than usual. Sorry if this post is foul-smelling but let's continue. :)

Animal manure, commonly those by chickens and carabaos, are used as fertilizer in gardening. The poop like the carabao's contains something beneficial for the growth of plants like nitrogen and phosphorous. My mother always tells me about her using carabao and chicken manure in her garden before which made her plants happy. She wanted to buy some for our current garden but she doesn't want going out a lot just to search for it on plant shops because of the risk of the virus and the risk of impulsively buying a new plant. And so, we tried searching online and successfully found a couple of shops selling carabao manure.

We bought a kilo since it's the standard amount per pack. The poop was dried so maybe it doesn't smell so bad? Well, we'll find out when we open it soon. The seller whom we bought this from was kind to give an update about our purchase. The box arrived within two days.

Aside from the carabao manure, we also bought 2 kilos of coco peat for our vegetables. Coco peat is made of coconut husk and is known to be anti-fungal that is why this soil is recommended for growing seeds.

I didn't know there are a lot of different soils which can be used for certain plants. I just learned right now that coco peat is the soil suited for succulents. It can also be used for plants. There are other kinds of soil on the product list that I can't remember the names. My mother wishes to buy them all but the shipping fee was too expensive, expensive than the products we were ordering, so we settled for some carabao manure and coco peat for now. We need more coco peat for our garden in the future.

I still think going and buying to a local physical store is the cheapest and most practical way. But thanks to online stores because they help us obtain and continue to do things despite the pandemic.

I'm excited to see how our plants would grow after getting a boost of some coco peat and carabao manure. :)
