'Hive Basic Income' is a social experiment to bring a voluntary self & crowd-funded basic income to as many Hiveians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Hive Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.

Steem Basic Income will be operational, post-fork, as Steem Basic Income (even on hive). Since all assets will be captured and replicated on Hive, all subscriptions will be as well.
Steem Basic Income has no affiliation with @hbi, @hivebasicincome, or any other attempt to copy our systems. We had planned to capture these accounts post-fork (so they would cleanly exist only on #hive and not on #steem).
We do not appreciate this third-party attempt to expropriate the trust we have built in the community, and we will defend that trust aggressively if it becomes necessary.
I thought this was you guys for a second. Thank you for clarifying that steem basic income is not the same group as hive basic income.
