¡Es evidente que faltan "ballenas" en Hive! Contar exclusivamente con los votos de @ocd, @appreciator, @curangel, etc., no es una opción muy alentadora. Sin embargo, tenemos en nuestras manos la posibilidad de cambiar esas cosas y no tener que esperar necesariamente que se "produzca el milagro".
Hoy en día podemos ver con gran satisfacción, como van apareciendo nuevos delfines. Me refiero específicamente a la comunidad de habla hispana, aunque esto es algo que aplica también para los mismos angloparlantes, o cualquier nacionalidad, como puede ser la nigeriana, que cuenta cada día con más participantes.
Lograr el rango de delfín, significa haber logrado 5000 HP. Sé que cuando uno está empezando, eso puede sonar a un número altísimo, inalcanzable. Pero la realidad es que llegar a esa cifra está a la vuelta de la esquina.
Hace mucho tiempo leí, en alguna parte (lamentablemente no recuerdo dónde), que cuando vamos a hacer un gasto, lo que vamos a recibir no se reduce mucho si le quitamos el 10%. Un libro que desarrolla ampliamente este tema del diezmo como inversión, es "El hombre más rico de Babilonia".
Es decir, si vamos a gastar $10 en algo, no va a ser mucha la diferencia si solo gastamos $9 y apartamos el restante.
Sobre ese diezmo se ha construido la Iglesia en casi todas partes del mundo.
Sin embargo, esta herramienta la podemos usar para las inversiones. En mi caso esa ha sido la manera de ir llevando mi HP a más de 20 mil.
Aun con el precio bajo que tiene actualmente el hive, un voto al 100% con un HP de delfín, equivale a $0.08. Esta cifra puede sonar a poca cantidad. Pero si reunimos a 100 usuarios que voten un post, esto equivaldría a $8, lo cual es igual o superior al voto que nos deja una ballena (al día de hoy).

Today we can see with great satisfaction how new dolphins are appearing. I am referring specifically to the Spanish-speaking community, although this is something that also applies to English speakers, or any nationality, such as Venezuelan, Cuban, Nigerian, which has more and more participants every day, or any other.
To achieve the rank of dolphin, means to have achieved 5000 HP. I know that when you are just starting out, that may sound like a very high number, unattainable. But the reality is that reaching that number is just around the corner.
A long time ago I read, somewhere (unfortunately I don't remember where), that when we are going to make an expense, what we are going to receive is not reduced much if we take away 10%. A book that extensively develops this theme of tithing as an investment is "The Richest Man in Babylon".
In other words, if we are going to spend $10 on something, it will not make much difference if we only spend $9 and set aside the rest.
The Church has been built on this tithe in almost all parts of the world.
However, we can use this tool for investments. In my case that has been the way to bring my HP to more than 20 thousand.
Even with the current low price of the hive, a 100% vote with a dolphin HP is equivalent to $0.08. This figure may sound like a small amount. But if we gather 100 users to vote for a post, this would equate to $8, which is equal to or more than the vote a whale leaves us (as of today).
Pero no basta solo alcanzar ese HP, sino que hay que saber usarlo sabiamente.
Si yo sé que mi voto vale $0.08, pero no voto al 100%, sino, por ejemplo, al 10%, mi aporte será solo de 0.008, lo cual no va a representar un aumento importante en el payout del post.
Esto es lo que le sucede a muchos usuarios que siguen trails, sin tener claridad de este aspecto. Seguir en trail a cualquiera de las ballenas de la plataforma va a hacer exactamente eso, porque ellos, por su alto poder de voto, lo hacen entre el 5 y el 16%. Así que nuestro voto también saldrá a ese porcentaje. Y es peor todavía cuando seguimos ese trail asignando menos del 100%. Porque quiere decir que si yo sigo el trail al 50% y este da un voto de 16%, el voto mío será al 8%.
Lo ideal, si vamos a seguir un trail, es que este vote de 50% para arriba. Tal es el caso de @la-colmena, que vota las publicaciones al 70%. Pero la mejor opción de todas es un mismo votar 10 publicaciones al día y hacerlo al 100%.
Recuerda también que aumentar tu HP de esta manera, te asegura más poder de influencia al votar testigos y propuestas, pero además es una inversión a futuro, pues ese dinero seguirá siendo tuyo siempre.

Because it means that if I follow the trail at 50% and it gives a vote of 16%, my vote will be at 8%.
Ideally, if we are going to follow a trail, it should vote from 50% upwards. Such is the case of @la-colmena, who votes the posts at 70%. But the best option of all is to vote 10 posts a day and do it at 100%.
Remember also that increasing your HP in this way, ensures you more power of influence when voting witnesses and proposals, but it is also an investment in the future, because that money will always be yours.
