THEME: CERBERUS
Edition: ALPHA/BETA
Rarity: RARE
Element: FIRE
ATTACK: MELEE
ABILITIES: Heal at level 1; Retaliate at level 5

Cerberus is the three-headed beast which is a great melee attacker in fire splinter and which I'm using from the very beginning of my splinterlands journey whenever I play a battle with fire splinter.

My Cerberus is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed & 5 health with "Heal" ability and it needs 4 mana to battle.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battles mana cap was 17 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the fire splinter where my Yodin Zaku summoned the Cerberus along with some more monsters and my opponent used the earth splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had my Cerberus in level 1, Furious Chicken in level 1, Fire Beetle in level 1 & Highland Archer in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Unicorn Mustang in level 1, Khmer Princess in level 1 & Goblin Thief in level 1.

It was kind of a low mana battle but I've used the high mana summoner Yodin Zaku just to check out how my Cerberus reacts when it has the mighty Zaku behind it and the result is satisfactory.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Cerberus (Rare Fire Monster)

Cerberus is the three-headed beast which is a great melee attacker in fire splinter and which I'm using from the very beginning of my splinterlands journey whenever I play a battle with fire splinter.

I used my Cerberus in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed & 5 health with "Heal" ability and it needs 4 mana to battle.

No 02: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

No 03: FIRE BEETLE (COMMON Fire Monster)

This is probably the most used fire monster in my collection along with other helpful monsters.
It's a very powerful beetle with fire on it that has a nice ability which is "Snipe" from level 1 and it's a very helpful monster for little league battles.

I used my Fire Beetle in level 3 with 2 ranged attacks, 2 speed & 4 health with "Snipe" ability, and it needs 3 mana to play.

No 03: Highland Archer (Common Neutral Monster)

Highland Archer is one of the best neutral monsters with a ranged attack when it comes to playing a low mana cap battle or when you need to add fantastic support with only 3 mana.

I used my Highland Archer is in level 3 with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 3 health and it needs 3 mana for battle.

And there I've used Yodin Zaku to summon those monsters in the right way.

Summoner: YODIN ZAKU (LEGENDARY Fire Summoner) - as summoner.

This is the legendary summoner that I wished to get so much from the airdrop and I even invested in some booster packs to get my hands on this fantastic summoner.

I remember publishing around 2-3 posts about me investing in this summoner and I also talked about the feedback about what went wrong and I even thought that I got one from the airdrop and then I understood that I better leave watching that dream of getting a Yodin Zaku from the airdrop.

And then I've got some of this legendary summoner from the packs that I bought and opened and I sold some and I kept this one for me to scare away my opponents.

My Yodin Zaku is in level 1 that offers +1 ranged attack to every ranged attacker, +1 health, and blast ability to each and every monster.

For the special buff of my special summoner Zaku, two of my ranged monsters got +1 ranged attack each and all my monsters got +1 health and the blast ability each. And my opponent monsters didn't get any special buff from their summoner. Then... for being the most speed holder, the Unicorn Mustang of my opponent started the battle with its first attack on my Cerberus and killed 3 health.

Then my Cerberus healed back 2 health for having the "Heal" ability and attacked it's first attacked and killed 2 health. Wait, that's not all... don't forget that all my monsters had the "Blast" ability and the second monster of my opponent lost 1 health out of the blast of the attack of my Cerberus.

Then my Fire Beetle threw its big (3) ranged arrow on the same second monster of my opponent and that monster had to leave the battlefield even before attacking for once. And then the next monster didn't get the blast but the first monster, Unicorn Mustang of my opponent fell on the blast and lost 2 more health first and then the interesting thing happened when the other monster of my opponent also lost two health for the blast of the same attack of my Fire Beetle which I didn't know can happen. I mean, is it common that two monsters get in the blast out of one attack?

Well, then my Highland Archer attacked the Unicorn Mustang of my opponent and with losing two health of that unicorn, the next monster Goblin thief caught in the blast and died and the first round came to an end with all these blasts. Then the Unicorn Mustang of my opponent attacked my Cerberus again in this new round and killed two more health of my Cerberus.

My Cerberus healed back 2 health again and attacked the last opponent monster and killed 2 health out of 4. Then my Highland Archer attacked and killed the last monster of my opponent.

The battle got finished in round 2 while my team still had all the monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.

  • In my personal opinion... Cerberus is a nice fit for the ruleset with some supportive monsters.
