My pixelart version of the Pit Ogre in the Splinterlands game. In this pixelart animation, we can see the Pit Ogre in the Carnival. He is playing whack a mole and it seems easy for him. But he needs to be cautious or else he might destroy the game when he hit it too hard.
Starting on the outline of the head.
Adding details on the head and refining the edges.
Creating the outline of the chains.
Outline of the arms.
Creating the outline of its body and legs.
Outline of its left arm, which will be animated later.
Adding its bat
Adding details on its neck.
Coloring the body of Pit Ogre
Coloring the chains
Shadings and shadows
Coloring the cloth
Adding details on its head.
Shinning effect on the chains and metals.
Details on the cloth.
Adding spikes on the bat.
Colored the background.
I merged all the layers, and then I made a separate copy of its left arm.
Then I move it per frame for the animation.
Here I am checking the position of its arm if it will hit the game.
The whack a mole game is done and the Pit Ogre is ready to play.
