Hope you are having a wonderful day. This weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! it is time to show " SHOOK TROOPER IN BACK TO BASIC RULESET : 5 SHOTS 4 KILLS " where i am going to share a remarkable battle link replay where shook trooper was the star of the battle.

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 18 mana with need for speed, armored up and back to basics ruleset against a very strong opponent who has a lot of gold collection . My opponent uses yudin zaku as his archon which is the best option in this battle ruleset while i used my archon cryptic to mainly take advantage on shook trooper with a high magic damage where a 1 shot can illuminate an opponent.

STAR OF THE DAY : SHOOK TROOPER

Lash Stagmuck, the scavo technomancer renowned for his role in creating the runi, is hard at work on his next invention: the electrovolt zappack.

This handy contraption consists of a backpack infused with mana, water, and bottled lightning, used to empower a weapon with electrically charged water magic.

Rebel forces have been field testing Lash’s electrovolt zappack. Unfortunately, the initial prototypes have a tendency to deliver a painful shock to the user—as well as everyone around them.

SHOOK TROOPER - Shock Trooper is a 4 mana water epic rebellion reward card. At level 6 it has 5 magic attack, 6 health and 4 speed. At level 6 it has also has electrified abilities (deals 1 damage to all allied Units at the beginning of each round), swiftness abilities ( +1 speed to all allied units) and magic reflect abilities ( returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack). This is one of my favorite monster specially in back to basic ruleset due to its high damage 5 magic and 4 speed which can illuminate an opponent with just 1 move

1. CRYPTIC - is a rebellion card dual water and death legendary archon. It is a 7 mana cards. It takes out -1 speed to all enemy units and provide blind to all enemy units from the start of the battle. It also gives added two type of tactics , first option is to give enfeeble, -1 to targets melee power after each succesful attack and retalliate - 50% chance to counter melee attack even after being defeated. Cryptic second tactic is poison - provides 50% chance to provide poison after succesful attack. Poison units will lose 2 health at the beginning of each round . And expose - provide 80% chance to remove forcefield, lookout, deflect, shield, void, void armor, cleanse or immunity after succesful attack.

2. HALFLING REFUGEE - Halfling Refugee is a 1 mana epic neutral rebellion soulbound reward card. At maxed level it has 5 melee attack. At level 6 it has also 8 health and 3 speed. It has also two abilities; weary ability and heal ablity. Halfling refugee is my favorite tank in little league due to its high 5 melee attack and even high 9 health. Aside from that its ability to heal makes him a good choice although its weary ability gives some disadvantage in a normal battle ruleset.

3. ENDLESS GIBBON - is a 1 mana water legendary rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 3 it has 1 melee attack, 3 health and 3 speed. At level 3 it has reach ability (can use melee attacks from the second position). With this low mana battle endless gibbon serve as a filler.

4. XENITH ARCHER - xenith archer is a 2 mana rare neutral chaos legion card. At level 8 it has 2 ranged attack, 5 health and 4 speed. Even at maxed level it has no abilities so it can not attack at first position.

5. GREAT PORCUPINE - great porcupine is a 3 mana neutral epic rebellion card. At level 5 it has 2 ranged attack, 0 armor, 5 health and 3 speed. It also has close range ability (can use ranged attacks from the first position) and thorns ability (Returns 2 physical damage to attacker when hit by a melee attack) . In this battle i used it in first position to delays attack on halfing refugee while my opponent suffer from posion.

In this 18 mana battle with need for speed, armored up and back to basics ruleset against a very strong opponent my strategy and positioning is to used low mana monster with high damage. My choice of archon is cryptic to take advantage of its poison added ability. I then used halfling refugee as my tank due to its 5 melee damage, then used endless gibbon at second position to support before ranged attack monster zenith archer and great procurpine at 3rd and 4th position . Then for the last position is the star of the day shook trooper due to its high mana 5 magic damage which in this battle show its strength agains a yuding zaku team with a blast or maybe this is just a lucky win for me.
