Intro
Xenith Archer a neutral monster, more option with which summoner you choose to battle.
Because it's a range monster is combines nicely with General Sloan.
I use this monster often to fill up a spot, not one of the strongest monster but can help as a meat shield.

I got my Xenith Archer on level 3. It will get no abilities when leveling up but speed and health will increase and also one extra damage at the higher levels.
In this battle it's scaled down to level 2, because it is the start of the season and i'm in bronze for now.
Strategy
With Equalizer it's wise to select healer, because it possibly gets a lot of health. In this battle I did not choose a healer because of the low mana cap. I selected more smaller monster. try to keep it to 1 or 2 mana monster.
Hoping my opponent will choose one big monster so my monster will get his health.
Xenith Archer is a low mana cost monster so a nice option here with the equalizer in combination with General Sloan it wil do 2 damage.

Low mana cost tank with 4 health
Soul Fiend (lvl 1):
Nice meat shield and will get at least 4 health because of Blinding Reflector
Hoping my opponent select a even higher health monster
Creeping Ooze(lvl 1):
Simple 1 mana meat shield to protect my archers. I think the slow will not have much effect because my monster already also have very low health
Xenith Archer (lvl 2):
Star of this week low speed low damage, but with General Sloan it will do 2 damage and that is pretty nice for a 2 mana monster. Also for this monster I hope it will benefit from the equalizer ruleset, it get at least 4 health which is one more that it got by herself
Pelacor Arbalest (lvl 2):
This needs to be my damage dealer monster costing the most with the 6 mana cost. but it will do 3 damage and has double strike so it does 6 damage which is very high with a 16 mana cap battle

Rounds:
Start :
All monster will receive 4 health. For the my opponent the Serpentine Spy that is very nice choice and will cause some trouble with 3 damage. one benefit is that opportunity has no preferred monster to target because all monster have 4 health.
Round 1:
Nice to see my Soul Fiend becomes a target because of the blast damage of the Fire Elemental. No worries at the moment with the 6 damage of my Pelacor Arbalest and 2 damage of Xenith Archer
Round 2:
The combination Fire Elemental with Serpentine Spy is hurting a lot. If i calculate it at this point it should be a win. His Fire Elemental will be in front before my Pelacor Arbalest gets in the front.
Round 3:
A bit luck with the order but else it also would have been a win.
Not the Fire Elemental is in the front it cannot attack, so one more round.
Round 4:
Nice battle, win.
Conclusion
Strategy worked like a charm. Slowly the life splinter is moving from most disliked splinter to i'm getting familiar with this splinter and its potential strategies.
