...Defender of Truth used to be one of my favorite cards...
...back in days when the game was at its early beginning i remember i used to play a lot with the Defender...

...Defernder is an epic card which combines many different things...
...first of all DoT is a magic attack monster....3 agility points makes him fast enough in the battlefield...he has a shield and the mana cost which is required to summon this card is only 4 points...
...he can easily be used in various battles, it is a very easy to use card...it is not very strong though, the damage that DoT causes to the opponent is not so serious so you have to consider this factor when you choose to play with him...

...i'm using the Alpha Edition of this card...
...it is not a cheap card i must admit...
...if you wanna purchase a DoT right now you have to pay 2.19$....i'm happy that i bought mine at an extremely lower price level ...if i remember correctly i bought my card for about 30 cents...the difference is huge and i believe the price will go up in future when more players will be involved in Splinterlands....
...do not forget that it is a support monster...
...DoT just supports the whole team...alone is not something serious...when the game advanced other cards took his place on the battlefield...right now i'm not using him a lot ,but in certain terrains he is very capable...speaking of which lets get to the battle details and explain a bit my gameplay ...
...the battle was a 46 mana cap battle....great number ...lots of possibilities and combinations...
...the rules though were a bit strict...no legendary monsters and healing ability disabled...
...considering these rules and the fact that i had to complete my daily quest i decided to get as a summoner my Peakrider...

the summoner's great strength is the +3 shield points on every fellow monster and a -1 attack point on every range attack enemy monster...

...5 mana requirement was pretty nothing for the 46 mana cap of this battle...

i'm not using a lot this summoner and i really paid good money to acquire him but let me be frankly with you...the summoner paid his money back to me, i have no complaints....

..having enough mana to spend ,41 points to be exact i thought Shieldbearer was a very nice tank to use...taunt ability from lvl 1 makes him the perfect tank...all of the enemy troops are trying to destroy him while your troops demolish your opponent without fear of getting hurt...
..in second place my Luminus Eagle...what a monster...melee attack with touch ability...2 points of attack...perfect monster to be used in second place...
...here comes the better part.....third place a lady...Lunakari Mistress...i simply love her...2 points of magic attack...double damage when attacking a monster with no attack power and in the fourth place my Defender of Truth...
...4th place is a very nice spot for a support monster like Defender,keep this in mind!!..
...well protected from sneak and sniper attacks he can offer his help to the team...
..for the last two places i saved 2 range attack monster...
..in the 5th place i chose Evangelist and in the last my Silvershield Sheriff....he is a sniper for those who don't know and really really powerful...

..the battle was victorious for me...i lost only my tank...the opponent's team was destroyed...if you click to see the battle you will enjoy it...it is not a boring battle i promise you...i believe my Sheriff did the difference in the battle and gave me the win...
...9 DEC added to my balance and i moved forward to the next battle...
