The Splinterlands team announced Chaos Legion & Tower Defense Holiday Deals 2022.
It doesn't matter whether you're a small buyer like me or a whale, there's something for everyone in this deal.
For whales, you'll get extra packs, and potions with bulk purchases, and for the small buyers, you'll get a promo card with each card pack purchase.
This is the deal you can't be missed.
Moving forward, another season comes to an end and this means it's time to share the last season's report cards of my two accounts.
In this post, I will share the result from the EOS 12 reward chest collection, the CL packs opening (which I got from those reward chests), and the Gladius packs opening.
So, let's go...
Performance Of The Main Account
My performance on the main account in the last season was impressive.
I played in Silver I till the last day and promotes my account to Gold III at end of the season.
My highest rating was 2220-Gold II league with the highest gold rank of 1842.
This means, all my reward chests in the current season will be Gold chests.
I fought 323 battles this season and won 251 of them, maintaining an outstanding 3.49 W/L ratio which is much better than season 11 with the longest winning streak of 22.
48 reward chests that's what I collected last season and all are the Gold chests as I played in the Gold league in season 11.

I was not sure if I will get a pack or not this season, but I got 2 of them. This was great.
Apart from that, I got a GF common Pelacor Conjurer,
2 epic cards 1x Revealer and 1x Djinn Chwala and 14x common cards.
1000 merits were really good too. Though I'm a little disappointed with the SPS quantity I got in this EOS which is only 6.433, but I'm not complaining.
Overall, it was a good season.
Performance Of The Alt Account
My alt account always performs better than the main account in terms of winning battles.
I played in the silver league till the last day of the season's end then promotes my account to the gold league. This means, all my reward chests in the current season will be Gold chests.
My highest rating was 2433-Gold III league with the highest gold rank of 1034.
I fought 309 battles this season and won 255 of them. With the longest winning streak of 22, I maintain an outstanding 4.72 W/L ratio which is greater than season 11.
In season 11, I made a silly mistake and forgot to promote my alt account to the gold league. For this reason, all the reward chests of my alt account are silver chests.
78 reward chests that's what I collected last season and all are the Silver chests.
Now, it's time to open those 78 chests...

The quantity of the chests is higher though the rewards are somewhere average.
Still, I'm pretty happy with 1 CL pack and 2 GF common cards Pelacor Conjurer x1 and Pelacor Mercenary x1.
Got 5x rare cards too and the rest are the common cards.
The SPS amount from the reward chests is good taking the fact that these are the silver chests.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the outcome of the reward.
Chaos Legion Packs Opening
I've accumulated 6 CL packs all total so far from the daily reward chests and EOS reward chests with two accounts. That is 1 CL pack more than season 11.
Unfortunately, I forgot to record my screen while opening the chests. That's why I'm posting the final result of the outcome of those packs.

From my brawl participation with my main and alt account, I got a decent amount of merit, and from EOS chests and daily chests, I did accumulate enough merits to buy 3 gladius cases for each account.

Conclusion
With the ever-changing mechanism of Splinterlands, I found it hard to be on the winning side these days. Competition is fierce from gold and higher leagues onwards.
The rental price is rising insanely whereas the SPS earnings from daily battle and reward chests are low. Then again, the price of SPS is tanking every day.
Still, getting 1-2 CL packs is what is good in opening EOS chests.
Regarding those potions, I still think the Splinterlands team should make them saleable for the owners in the secondary market or make a way to burn them and get some DEC/SPS. Otherwise, they just keep piling in my account as I'm not planning to buy and large pack quantity recently.
