¡Saludos! Hacía tiempo que no traía publicaciones sobre mis desventuras abriendo packs en Splinterlands, sin embargo me parece que no estaría mal cambiar un poco la "rutina", trayendo algo diferente a lo que acostumbro, aunque eso no quiere decir que no vaya a publicar alguna batalla esta semana.
Quiero comenzar con un pack de la colección "Gladius", estos solo se pueden comprar con "merits", que se consiguen al participar en batallas del tipo "Brawl". Las cartas que salen en estos packs no pueden usarse en los modos Wild ni Mordern, tampoco se pueden vender, delegar o alquilar, pero esto no quiere decir que sean inútiles, pues sus habilidad particular "BloodLust", es mortal en batalla, pues puede volver a un simple monstruo de 1 de daño en una bestia insaciable que barra con todo el equipo enemigo. Aparte de eso aportan puntos de poder que ayudan a avanzar en las ligas.
Luego de un Brawl bastante bueno, decidí probar suerte y... Lamentablemente no me fue tan bien como esperaba, tuve 4 normales y una rara. Aun así pues viendo el lado positivo, puedo seguir acumulando para subirlas de nivel.
Greetings! It's been a while since I last posted about my misadventures opening packs in Splinterlands, however I thought it would be nice to change the "routine" a bit, bringing something different from what I'm used to, although that doesn't mean that I won't post some battles this week.
I want to start with a pack from the "Gladius" collection, these can only be bought with "merits", which are obtained by participating in "Brawl" type battles. The cards that come in these packs cannot be used in Wild or Mordern modes, nor can they be sold, delegated or rented, but this does not mean that they are useless, because their particular ability "BloodLust", is deadly in battle, as it can turn a simple 1 damage monster into an insatiable beast that sweeps the entire enemy team. Apart from that they bring power points that help to advance in the leagues.
After a pretty good Brawl, I decided to try my luck and.... Unfortunately it didn't go as well as I expected, I had 4 normal and one rare. Even so, looking at the positive side, I can continue accumulating them to level them up.

Un tiempo después (pues ese pack Gladius no es tan reciente), decidí tomar un riesgo, pues hace poco pensé en vendí mi "Vera Salacia" nivel 2, y completar con otras ventas para comprar a Bortus. Pero en vez de solo tener los DEC para completar, decidí invertirlos en 4 packs y ver si las cosas salían bien. Con lo que tenía de la venta me alcanzaba para 3 pero con un algunos tokens que tenía aparte llegué a los 4.
Some time later (since that Gladius pack is not so recent), I decided to take a risk, because I recently thought of selling my "Vera Salacia" level 2, and complete with other sales to buy Bortus. But instead of just having the DECs to complete, I decided to invest them in 4 packs and see if things went well. With what I had from the sale I had enough for 3 but with some tokens that I had apart I got to 4.
Y definitivamente no fue una mala decisión, pues los resultados fueron excelentes. Destacan 2 invocadores y 1 legendaria, en concreto Tarsa del splinter de fuego, Thaddius Brodd de muerte y Sould Fiend, una conocida carta de la edición Chaos, que exige 0 de maná, parecido a Furious Chicken. De estos vendí a 2 para seguir acumulando y dejé en el mercado a Sould Fiend, pues hay bastante fluctuación en su precio, posiblemente la saque del mercado y espere para venderla y luego comprar su equivalente en el Splinter de muerte o fuego.
And it was definitely not a bad decision, as the results were excellent. I sold 2 summoners and 1 legendary, specifically Tarsa of the fire splinter, Thaddius Brodd of death and Sould Fiend, a well-known card from the Chaos edition, which requires 0 mana, similar to Furious Chicken. Of these I sold 2 to continue accumulating and I left Sould Fiend on the market, because there is enough fluctuation in its price, possibly I will take it out of the market and wait to sell it and then buy its equivalent in the Splinter of death or fire.
El 24 de septiembre tuve una buena recompensa en los cofres diarios, pues me tocó un pack, por lo que, motivado por los resultados recientes decidí abrirlo (aunque en cuanto a probabilidad esa racha no cambiaría nada). Y pues, un "Pelacor Arbalest" dorado me sonrió, una carta de unos 4$ aproximadamente. Seguramente la venda para invertir en otras o tomar el dinero para gastos personales.
On September 24 I had a good reward in the daily chests, as I got a pack, so, motivated by the recent results I decided to open it (although in terms of probability that streak would not change anything). And well, a golden "Pelacor Arbalest" smiled at me, a card of about 4$ approximately. I will probably sell it to invest in others or take the money for personal expenses.
