It is always the numbers of the past season. But you can always do the math and check it. If you go to Splinterlands, in your battle history there's some buttons, one of which says "Last Season", just go there and click on the league you ended the last season. You'll see your number of battles and wins. Splinterstats have always worked for me, huge fan of their tools!
