Hello, everyone! How are you? Today I'm back with much more content related to Splinterlands, participating in the Splinterlands team's Social Media Challenge initiative.
This time, I don't have as much news about my season as on other days. Instead, I want to dedicate this post to opening rewards that I've had pending for a long time.

En esta ocasión, no traigo tantas novedades en cuanta a mi temporada como en otros dias. Si no quiero dedicar esta publicación a abrir recompensas que tenia pendientes de hace tiempo.
One of the things I've accumulated the most during this time by opening so many reward chests is MERITS. They tend to be the items with the highest drop rate, so every season I accumulate an insane amount.
I also get them from the reward store, where I buy all the ones available up to the third tier. And I think I get a considerable amount of MERITS every week from guild battles.
Una de las cosas que más he acumulado en estos tiempos al abrir tantos cofres de recompensas es: MERITS. Suelen ser de los objetos que mas tasa de drop tienen, asi que cada temporada voy acumulando una cantidad insana.
También obtengo de la tienda de recompensas, dónde compro todos los disponibles hasta el tercer bache. Y creo que semanalmente consigo una cantidad considerable de MERITS por las batallas de gremios.
With everything I had, I checked to see how many Gladius Cases I could buy, and I think it was more than twenty-five. But this time I wanted to try something new, so I bought only 20 Gladius Cases and decided to invest the rest in something else.
Con todo lo que tenia, me fije para ver cuantas Gladius Cases podia comprar y creo que eran más de veinticinco. Pero esta vez queria probar algo nuevo, asi que compré tan solo 20 Gladius Cases y decidi invertir el resto en otra cosa.
It turns out that there is a kind of legendary potion for Gladiator cards called Blood Stone, so I decided to buy 100 units of it, which ended up costing me about 5,600 Merits. Blood Stone doubles the chances of getting a legendary card, which I think is higher by default in cards from this set than in normal ones.
I ended up buying so many because each card in the Gladius Case consumes one Bloodstone, and each case gives you five cards, for a total of 100 cards for the 20 packs.
Resulta que hay una especie de pociones de legendaria pero para la cartas de Gladiator llamada Blood Stone, asi que decidi comprar 100 unidades de esta que me terminó saliendo unos 5600 Merits. La Blood Stone duplica las posibilidades de obtener una carta legendaria, que creo que por defecto es mas alto en cartas de este set que de los normales.
Terminé comprando tanta cantidad debido a que cada carta de la Gladius Case consume una Bloodstone y cada case da cinco cartas, dando un total de 100 cartas por las 20 paquetes.
After buying everything I needed, I started the opening by opening the twenty Gladius Cases along with the corresponding 100 Blood Stones.
The opening started off pretty strong, so much so that the first card I got was a legendary. I couldn't believe it, nothing like this had ever happened to me before.
In the first group of cards, I also managed to get two cards in their gold version and an epic card that I don't mind at all—in fact, Quora Towerhead is one of my favorite cards in the set.

In the final group, luck continued to be on my side, and I managed to get two more legendary cards from the Gladiator set, plus an epic card and a common card in its gold version.
En el grupo final, la suerte me seguia acompañando y logré obtener otras dos legendarias más del set Gladiator, sumandole una carta épica y una común en su version dorada.
This is the first time I've been so lucky doing these openings, because even when I opened fifty Gladius Cases, I only got half of what I got in terms of rarities at the end of the opening.
Ultimately, I also managed to get so many legendary cards because the base odds of obtaining a legendary card from the Gladiator set are quite high compared to other sets.
If we add to that the fact that these odds are doubled, the result is that obtaining a card of that rarity becomes much easier.
Es la primera vez que tengo tanta suerte haciendo estas aperturas, porque incluso cuando abri cincuenta Gladius Cases tan solo he obtenido la mitad de lo que he conseguido en cuanto a rarezas al final del opening.
En definitiva, también logré conseguir tantas cartas legendarias porque las probabilidades base de obtener una legendaria del set Gladiator son bastantes altas en comparación con la de los otros sets.
Si a eso le sumamos que estas chances se duplican, el resultado es que obtener una carta de esa rareza se vuelve mucho más sencillo.
It was difficult to find much information about the rate, but I managed to find a note published by the Splinterlands team themselves some time ago. I don't know if the rate has changed in any subsequent updates.
I thought that even the drop rate was much higher, so it seems that I was quite lucky to get 3 legendary cards with a 1.6% chance.
Me costó obtener mucha información sobre el rate, pero he logrado conseguir una nota que ha publicado el propio equipo de Splinterlands hace un tiempo. Desconozco si la tasa ha cambiado en alguna actualización posterior.
Pensé que incluso la tasa de droppeo era mucho mayor, asi que parece que he tenido una suerte bastante grande para obtener 3 legendarias con 1.6% de posibilidades.
With this opening, I have greatly increased my collection of the entire Gladiator set. Most interestingly, I have added legendary cards that I didn't have, such as Larisa Kerato and Fina Voxom.
Despite accumulating a considerable number of duplicate cards, I can't improve many of them because I already did so a few weeks ago, leaving me without copies of the most basic units.
Con esta apertura, he incrementado bastante mi colección de todo el set Gladiator. Lo más interesante de todo, es que he sumado legendarias que no tenia como Larisa Kerato y Fina Voxom.
A pesar de acumular una cantidad considerable de cartas repetidas, no puedo mejorar muchas debido a que ya lo habia hecho hace unas semanas, quedandome sin copias de las unidades más basicas.
