Cuando aparece un desafio con una carta que es bastante limitada como Xenith Archer es cuando mas disfruto hacerlo porque de cualquier manera tienes que pensar mucho la estrategia para poder sacarle provecho, ahora que la temporada recien inicia y estoy recien empezando un Focus nuevo en rango Bronce, me parecio el momento perfecto para buscarle unas batallas a mi Xenith Archer, creo que es una carta muy buena para esta liga debido al mana, asi que no esperemos mas y veamos como me fue con este nuevo Challenge.

When a battle challenge appears with a card that is quite limited like Xenith Archer is when I enjoy doing it the most because anyway you have to think a lot about the strategy to take advantage of it, now that the season has just started and I am just starting a new Focus in Bronze rank, I thought it was the perfect time to look for some battles with my Xenith Archer, I think it is a very good card for this league because of the mana, so let's not wait any longer and let's see how I did with this new Battle Challenge.

Xenith Archer es una carta de rareza Rara y de Splinter Neutral que pertenece a la edicion Chaos Legion, una carta que es muy util por solo costar 2 puntos de mana, aunque creo que su potencial se va descubriendo realmente conforme va subiendo de nivel y va avanzando entre ligas, en rango bajo tiene stats bastante pobres pero eso se compensa con el costo de mana, haciendola muy facil de utilizar casi siempre.
¿Como le sacas provecho a esta carta?
Es una carta con ataque Ranged asi que siempre tendras que usarla en la parte trasera de tu alineacion, ni siquiera con el ruleset de Close Range recomiendo usarla en primera posicion a menos que tambien este activo el ruleset Equalizer, ya que ahi ganaria muchisima vida. Como sea, la mejor forma de sacarle provecho es con invocadores que la potencien, como Yodin Zaku, General Sloan, Selenia Sky, Prince Rennyn o Archmage Arius. No aprende ninguna habilidad y eso es algo a tomar muy en cuenta la momento de armar la alineacion, es una carta que tiene usos muy especificos y es tu trabajo encontrarlos.
Xenith Archer is a card of Rare rarity and Splinter Neutral that belongs to the Chaos Legion edition of Splinterlands, a card that is very useful for only costing 2 mana points and have ranged attack, although I think its potential is really discovered as it levels up and progresses between leagues, in low range it has pretty poor stats of attack and life but that is compensated with the mana cost, making it very easy to use almost always.
How do you take advantage of this card?
It's a Ranged attack type card so you will always have to use it in the back of your lineup as a damage support for your team, even with the Close Range ruleset on the battle I don't recommend using it in first position unless the Equalizer ruleset is also active, because then it will gain a lot of life. Anyway, the best way to take advantage of it is with summoners that boost it, like Yodin Zaku, General Sloan, Selenia Sky, Prince Rennyn or Archmage Arius. It doesn't learn any ability and that's something to take into account when setting up the alignment, it's a card that has very specific uses and it's your job to find them.

Si analizas los datos que te da el juego puedes anticiparte lo mejor posible, el ruleset saca a las cartas con Melee del juego asi que por obligacion hay que ir con Magia o Ranged, pero vas descartando opciones con la informacion que ya tienes junto con los demas datos, por ejemplo:
18 de mana es muy poco para sacar una combinacion de Sloan + Pelacor Arbalest, y como no hay Melee, este elemento esta cortisimo.
Agua y Fuego en Chaos Legion son casi todo Melee, asi que podemos descartar ambos tambien.
El mana tambien dejaba casi descartada la idea de usar Dragon.
Mi oponente estaba en Focus de Tierra porque sus ultimas 5 batallas fueron con ese elemento.
Asi que la deduccion mia fue que utilizaria Magia.
If you analyze the data that the game gives you you can anticipate the best possible, the ruleset takes the cards with Melee out of the game so by obligation you have to go with Magic or Ranged, but you are discarding options with the information you already have along with the other data, for example:
only 18 mana cap points is too little to get a combination of General Sloan + Pelacor Arbalest, and as there is no Melee, this element is very short.
The Water and Fire Splinters in Chaos Legion are almost all Melee, so we can discard both as well for this battle.
The mana also almost ruled out the idea of using Dragon.
And for last, my opponent was on Earth Focus because his last 5 battles were with that element.
So my deduction about all this was that he would use Magic.
Djinn Muirat como Tanque es la opcion perfecta en este caso por su Void Armor y buena armadura, casi todas las cartas magicas de Tierra atacan al tanque, asi que usarlo aqui era la base de todo.
Life Sapper ademas de ser un apoyo, quedaria como tanque secundario si mi Muirat llegase a caer, esta carta se aprovecha muy bien de la curacion enemiga porque asi se va aumentando la vida propia cada vez mas.
Xenith Archer detras como un soporte de daño, el punto extra que seria vital en la batalla para darle un cierre exitoso.
Mi idea aqui era justamente la de la imagen de arriba, que el daño combinado de mis cartas junto con la habilidad de aguante de mi Muirat me dieran la victoria, pero ¿quieres ver la batalla entera?

Djinn Muirat as a Tank is the perfect choice in this case because of its Void Armor and good armor, almost all Earth Magic cards attack the tank, so using it here was the base of everything.
Life Sapper in addition to being a support of the Djinn Muirat, would be as a secondary tank if my Muirat would fall, this card takes advantage of the enemy healing very well because it increases its own life more and more.
Xenith Archer behind as a damage support, the extra point that would be vital in the battle to give it a successful closure.

That second battle seems like it should be an auto-win for Water, but the slower pace of the battle lets you grow a second tank to secure a clean win!
